high ceilings, liked room has a separated space for the living room, everything was clean and AC worked well even with the storm. Food was good, service was really attentive, Wesly and Carlos really made it with the 5 start service, they have different activities such a bingo (my husband and I won both a wine a champagne as the prizes) and biking and also some archery, was calm and relaxed

place its kinda small, its within a complex so at times it did not felt like a resort, has a pool that it's next to a nest where some bird poop often lands (we just moved to the other pool), cocktails were totally 5/10 but i guess they tried to and definitely got me with some good drinks that i did enjoy

The staff was outstanding, knowledgeable, kind, attentive, on point, practical, friendly and professional.

The only thing I found they need to improve was that the walk-in bathroom shower only had one side door, so there was no way to close it and therefore some water reached the floor and therefore there was always a small puddle of water and there wasn't any mop tool to wipe it, on the other hand, the maidens were attentive and cleaned it themselves. Other than that, everything was near perfect for a decent and affordable stay.

The staff and their service was great I did not learn everyone names, but everyone did knew mine and treated my great, while the pool was not that big since there was really few people it felt like a huge private pool Honestly felt like I had the hotel almost for myself.

Not sure if I'm misremembering but before the pools at hotel were always cool, but lately no matter where or when I go they are hot still way better than being hot outside the pools, the room had 2 ac and the one on the living was. able to keep running but the one on the beds did not, food was kinda meh.

The Breakfast was delicious and the staff, especially the restaurant and cleaning services, were excellent. And I would like to add that the work and comportment of Beatriz, the cleaning staff who attended our room, deserves special mention for making our stay more enjoyable.

I would like a wider selection of beverages available.

This is my second time staying at this resort and I felt that this time was better than the first. Although I was only there for two nights, it was just as amazing I put down that my husband and I were celebrating our three year wedding anniversary and his birthday while we were there. When we walked into the room, there were balloons in our room and put rose petals on the bed in the shape of a heart. They even brought us fruits and champagne to celebrate. it was just great that this was done for us. We had a beautiful room with a poolside view, you have hot water, and the on-site festivities for Christmas were just so cute

Staff are always super friendly... Mary from the dining room was awesome... Room was clean and comfortable... Front desk Ramon was very helpful... Activity Staff were also good...

The food selection was just ok... Food was better last year... Facility needs more staff.. Dining room was messy with plates needing to be removed..

Hodelpa exceeded our expectations for our 1st anniversary! The staff is super nice and accommodating and the food is excellent. Saturday night was lively and the entertainment was so much fun. The all inclusive food and drinks won’t disappoint. The pool is huge so if you don’t want to be in the swim up bar atmosphere, you can relax on the other side. Kids also have their own activities and Entertainment director. They put on a cute show. I also loved the shuttle to Juan Dolio beach.

I miss the days hotels would clean everyday. but it is all hotels lately. not just Hodelpa

Great all inclusive, good value for money.

1.Long wait time for check in. 2.Did'nt like the part where they try to sell Elite membership, they first introduce it like an opportunity to see there other property then try to sell you.. it comes off passive aggressive to me ..and make you feel like you should feel guilty for saying no..."messing up the biggest opportunity" dnt like it.

the property was just beautiful, the buffet although they did not have many options what they did have was really good. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was great and helpful, there was hot water for showering. The drinks were good and the staff is very understanding. my sister in law passed away during my trip and I wasn’t able to check out and check back in for my 2nd reservation. The staff left our belongings in the room and gave us an extra day. I was suppose to check out the 26 and we stood until the 27th. Great resort you must stay here !

it was very dark when you were leaving the resort at night.

This resort overall is very huge and beautiful. My suite had a huge living room with a dining table and a sofa bed and tv. The bedroom had a lot of closet space and drawers with a beautiful view of the pool and most of the resort. The food from the Buffet was limited but the food that was put out for the people was amazingly good. The staff on the property are very understanding my husband and I stood here for a week and he‘s sister passed away unexpectedly and we were supposed to check out and check back into another reservation that we had. The staff was understanding and they left our things in the room and allowed us to check into our room again the day that we were able to get back to the resort and Sophie would be paying the same price they left us there until February 27 Instead of February 26 like we had originally paid for.

The only thing that I could possibly say that I did not like is that when you were leaving the property at night time whether it be to go to a store or to simply drive around it’s really really dangerously dark.
