The whole place was very well thought out as a space and very beautiful and hommie. The staff was very well informed and super helpful, the food and drinks were affordable and delicious and my room was quiet, spacious and cleaned every day! Plus they provide all cleaning and hygiene products. The wellness classes and the free welcome drunk are also a nice touch. Super high speed wifi for those who care.

We loved the common areas they are super nice and spacious. The rooftop really is phenomenal there is a spacious co-working area and Strom WiFi. Everything was clean, except for the kitchen that really lacks functionality. The place is right at one of the Baños Parks and the view from the rooftop is just beautiful.

The rooms with shared bathroom really lack comfort for their price! The first room we got was pretty unacceptable as we almost couldn’t fit in our backpacks next to the bed. The images of the rooms are much nicer and they are only of the very best rooms they have. The staff is definitely over the top with promoting Selina activities. We found them extremely nice but it’s not the most calm place (but that might be obvious is a Selina Hostel).

The location of the hotel is great and well located in the center. The hotel offers many amenities, activities within the hotel as with an agency for outdoor activities. The staff is extremely friendly and always available to support and provide guidance. The agency, for activities, working with the hotel is also very friendly, highly recommended !

Depending on what you are looking for and who is in the hotel,, the hotel hallways could be noisy and could be disturbing some sleeps, having ear plugs helped.

Overall the place was clean and comfortable. All the staff was very helpfull and nice. We had a good experience staying here. I loved the rooftop, which made us stay at the same hotel, enjoy a beer and then have a good rest back in the room.

The place doesn't have a parking lot or an space close to the entrance to get our luggage out of the car. The access to the room is kind of hard, the locks are a little tricky to open or close.

First of all, my favorite part about this hostal was Adriana. She was so attentive and sweet and took us on a bike ride down the ruta de cascadas. She was such an Amazing volunteer and Selina is extremely lucky to have her. She brings good energy and vibes to the place. The rest of the staff was also very helpful If you are a digital nomad the Wi-Fi worked perfectly to answer emails and attend zoom, WebEx, and team calls. However, the co-working space Wi-Fi never seem to work and therefore I was unable to work in the co-working space. I was able to work everywhere else in a hostal and the Wi-Fi was fine. A couple of things that I would recommend that they improve. Number one, the majority of the staff did not know the coworking passcode for at least two days while we were here. Furthermore, the coworking Wi-Fi never worked the entire time that I was there, does it felt like an entirely wasted space. However, the rest of the Wi-Fi worked fine and therefore presented no issue for working. Number two, the Selena in Quito offered free and unlimited coffee, however here they charged you for any extra cup of coffee you wanted at your breakfast. I feel that there should be some consistency among these hostals especially since they are pretty close together and in the same country. Also, there didn’t appear to be any organized tours through the hostal which was a downside. Also, unlike the Quito Selena, there was also no organized laundry service. However, the laundry was only a couple of blocks away, but it would’ve been nice if you could just dump it off at the front desk Just a few suggestions, but aside from that it was a great experience!

The staff was AMAZING. Adriana was especially kind and thoughtful with all the questions we had about Baños.

The building needs big updates. They market it as a great place for one-bedroom stays but the entire place is basically a hostel. That is fine, but people in one-bedrooms would prefer not to hear every conversation from the lobby and also some blackout curtains for the bright lights outside. Little things are needed to make this a great place and not just a hostel.

Selina is always the good choice ! Great spaces, very comfortable bedrooms, amazing breakfast and great advices on activities !! plus the bar and events are amazing !

Curtains are not very thick if you are in a bedroom on the street so they let light come in. Bring a sleep mask if you wish for a dark room

The location is excellent, right on the main square and in the middle of everything. This hostel has a yoga room and yoga classes, a bar and restaurant on the roof

Lack of information when I arrived, I found out much later that there was a yoga room and a restaurant on the roof. Also, the top bunk bed in my dorm room was so close to the ceiling that it was impossible to sit upright in my bed and I bonked my head on the low ceiling a couple of times

I enjoyed the location of the hotel and the services . Loved that the cleaning was everyday.

The hot water in the shower was really low. Need more pressure. The amount of noise during the night. I think it's the door slamming more than anything

Centrally located - spacious room - good communal areas.

Random breakfast service - limited choice and needed to make many repeat requests before getting everything we’d asked for (like hot water, butter…). Noisy - as you might expect…
