It’s extremely clean and well decorated. And the food was delicious! But we paid a pricy drink ,in local market it was 6-15 but hotel charged 50.

The hotel management helped us booking the skyline bus ticket back to Luxor with foreigner’s price! One nice elder manager told us it’s 90 last night ,but one day after when we ask the other manager to book for us ,it suddenly became 110! And he lied to us ,he said the difference it’s because he booked another bus company not skyline bus. But the truth is it’s the same bus company. In the end ,he got angry and he told us it works this way in Egypt. All the people in the hotel were in the same side “you have to take it or you can just take local bus!” It’s not a pleasant experience!

Spacious room, extremely clean, nice restaurant nearby.

Be aware of the charge. They charge 30 Egyptian dollars for a bottle of water which normally costs 10 in any shops. Normally the hotels in Egypt would graciously prepare free (2) bottled water. They did not have this service and charged triple.

Located about a 25 minute walk from the Abu Simbel temples, this lovely Nubian style guest house was an ideal base to stay for our two nights. The owner could not have been more helpful and friendly. He spoke good English and was always on hand to offer advice or travel tips. Our bedroom had a bath, shower, plenty of powerpoints, clean towells mosquito nets and everything you would expect, but presented in authentic Nubian style. The breakfast/lunch/dinner area had comfortable sofas and tables for sitting and eating (and doing e-mails!). The wi-fi was surprisingly good too. Breakfast was a tasty omelette followed by plenty of coffee (or tea) and bread, yoghurt and cheese. Lunch was soup, followed by a tasty tagline with fish or chicken. It tasted good and did not give us any stomach problems. We took the one hour boat trip on Lake Nasser (400 Egyptian pounds) and saw plenty of wild birds, and of course the temple from the boat. I also swam in Lake Nasser on several occasions from a small beach close to the guest house (just opposite the hospital). My wife worried about crocodiles, but I saw none - nor any evidence of any. If you are anxious, do check! A taxi to the airport (10 minutes) cost us 175 Egyptian pounds. Overall, we really liked this place. At £115 for two people for two nights (bed and breakfast) it was good value too.

All, everything is perfect, the hospitality, staff very very friendly, very close from the temples but if you don't want walk, the hotel has a tuk tuk. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. If you are looking a real Nubian experience, this is the place. We lost the 1st night and the owner offered stay one night more. The road to Abu Simbel is close for tourists at 5pm so if you arrive in Aswan late (between 4-5 pm)to be pickup by a taxi, is impossible you can go to Abu Simbel, is better you stay one night in Aswan and Next day Go. You can arrange everything with the hotel, taxi and stay one night in Aswan, also they have a new beautiful nubio hotel in Aswan. Thank you very much to owner and all team Kabara Nubian House.

Little warm water for shower, I missed a coffee maker and better wifi.

There is much to praise about the Kebara Nubia House. Rooms are well outfitted, great shower, air conditioning, and the facilities decorated in lovely pastel-colored murals. Meals were very good, cooked Egyptian style. Even better was the staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed two nights and took in the peaceful little town as well as the amazing Ramses II and Queen Nefertari temples. Wonderful experience in Nubia!

Nothing.

The staff, restaurant, view of sunset and sunrise from the terrasse. You get the real nubian feeling and it feels like home. The place is clean and the rooms and bath seem newly renovated and furnished.

I found hair at my pillow. I didnt tell it to the reception, because it was late and I was tired. But all in all the bed linnen seemed clean. We would have liked if there had been a kettle in the room to make coffee and tea.

Nice place to stay in Abu Simbel, it is a beautiful colourful and well kept building with lovely gardens. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Good fixed price dinner, which was more expensive than elsewhere in Egypt, but seems more standard for Abu Simbel. Staff were friendly. Not far from the temples, which is handy if you're making multiple visits (eg returning to see the light show). The driver we had booked and brought with us from Aswan was made welcome here by the staff.

Stayed at Kabara Nubian House in Abu Simbel for a night and was charmed by the warmth and hospitality. It felt like a cozy, cultural immersion into their family and traditions. Each room tells a story, adding to the experience.

The bed was quite hard, which might not suit everyone. A softer mattress could enhance comfort.

What a cute place to stay in. Everyone was very welcoming and wanted to talk and get to know you. The hotel was located around the corner from the strip. It was a great time and wish I had more time there to have enjoyed it.

The wifi in the rooms was a little weak.
