Good hotel for families

During our 10 day stay in Egypt, we stayed in 4 different hotels. I must say that Jewel matrouh was the best one by far. Firstly, the receptionists were so accommodating and lovely, especially Nada. The laundry lady was so kind and always smiling- somehow whilst she was washing our clothes, there had been a tiny hole in one of our clothes which she was very apologetic for and was honest and admitted her mistake. We didn't mind at all as she was so sweet and humble. The staff at breakfast were so lovely too, very helpful and caring. They knew we were a large group and liked to eat together and they would ensure they made a space for us every morning. The hotel itself had everything you need- it was clean, comfortable beds, shampoo/shower gel/waters/kettle/tea/coffee etc in each room Cleaning ladies would come everyday and do an awesome job. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jewel Matrouh- as foreigners they welcomed us kindly and tried their best to communicate with us Many reviews complain about the noise and although I agree that this is true, I have to say that the noise didn't disturb us at all. We had mixed ages in our group, old people, youngsters and little children and everyone got their beauty sleep! I also really liked their arrangements for towels-using a towel card and thought the wristband was a great idea especially if anyone was to get lost as it gets very busy at night, it would be easy to find your way back home by showing anyone the wristband! A solid 10/10 and I would love to return

The sea was great. The food is very good. The staff is really nice.

During my stay in the hotel at Marsa Matrouh in August 2022 our family felt very comfortable and welcomed from the whole staff starting from the CEO and the vice to the youngest of the staff . Also I’d Lilke to thank the whole team whom did their best to satisfy us at our stay and having an outstanding effort for welcoming us specially the receptionist team, the house keeping team and the food and beverage team. Not limited to Mr M. Kamal, Mr A. Heikal, Mr M.el saieed, Mr M. Ahmed, Miss Nermin, Miss Marwa and Mr A. Halawa we couldn’t ever thank them and the whole staff for the extraordinary effort and hospitality.

The beach was full of rocks and dirts and it was very crowd The jet ski was alot and they blow out theri gasses

The rooms are spacious, the staff are cheerful and very helpful. The beach is only a few minutes on foot from the hotel. The location is excellent surrounded by all types of shops and restaurants, etc.

Taxis are not allowed to the front door so we had to push our luggage on the street for about 50 metres. The Wifi was intermittent and did not work well when connected. The lunch and dinner are overpriced.

All staff are helpful and smiling and dealing professionally , the room is big and always clean , the breakfast was enough and accepted

Large, clean, spacious rooms with comfy beds and terrific bathrooms. Good AC system in my room. Housekeeping was excellent. Good breakfast with large variety. All STAFF MEMBERS are friendly and go out of their ways to be helpful! They really make you feel welcome, even if most of them don’t speak English.

Terribly noise all night. There is an open air mall, an amusement park, and a gigantic outdoor café, all adjacent to the hotel, blaring loud local pop music till 3 or 4am. When the music finally stops you hear the call to prayer being broadcast at the nearby mosque. The result is practically no sleep at all. This is not the hotel’s fault, but a complete lack of consideration by their neighbors, who will go to any means to attract customers!
