I was traveling for several weeks and the places where I stayed are a bit of a blur. The young man who greeted me when I arrived was pleasant and quite helpful explaining where my room was and filled me in on breakfast in the lobby. But I had such a long drive to get to Santa Nella from Orange County that I slept so long I missed breakfast. But that was not a problem because I travel with a small cooler and a small bag of breakfast things! Your hotel is far superior to the Quality Inn in Barstow CA. I tried to check in there and they refused to accept my Chase Bank VISA debit card and demanded I give them the room rate plus an extra $100.00 in cash. Needless to say I found another hotel nearby who welcomed me with open arms. Because of that I was completing sleeping in my car overnight but decided to give your place a chance. And I was quite happy with that decision. Definitely will stay with you the next time I am in Santa Nella.⁸⁸

I was pleased that there was a security gate to get to the room. It took me by surprise (most hotel don't provide that level of security.) The only problem that l had was trying to keep the gate open and at the same time get my things inside the secure area. But I figured it out, l shouldn't have tried to carry so much stuff at one time!

This motel is absolutely charming. It's an old building, but the lobby has been decorated as a bit of Paris. Very cute! Our room was very large, beautifully appointed, with a comfortable bed, and a sparkling bathroom. We felt so at home with a sofa and classic art work. The breakfast room reflected the Parisian theme. It was huge, sunny, with classy furniture, including sofas. Breakfast was nicely presented with waffles, boiled eggs, several kinds of juice, yogurt, coffee, etc. We liked the enormous, grassy central courtyard with the rooms arranged around it so that we felt secluded and hardly were aware of nearby traffic.

The pool was being renovated, so was unavailable.

This is a clean and nice place to overnight. It's a little run down, and the pool area was under construction which we didn't know. Other than that, we were happy with our room and service.

We were put in a ground floor room. We wanted to go upstairs, but the clerk assured us we would have quiet, and that noise would not be an issue. At 12:30 PM - we were sound asleep - people checked into the room directly above us. It was loud, unpleasant, and after waking we couldn't go back to sleep. Upstairs for us from now on. There is NO noise insulation between floors.

Room is great. Bathroom great. Shower great. Breakfast good - toast, eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, coffee, tea etc. - Everything you need/want for a good, filling breakfast. Lots of food joints around - some within walking distance, others a short drive away, on the same street. Love this place and location.

I can't think of anything negative to say about this hotel.

This was our second time staying here. We came back because of the good experience we had the first time. We like that it's a perfect midway stopping point for our travel, and it's clean and quiet. The self serve breakfast selection is pretty good too.

The only negative we have is that the mattress was a little too firm for us. We have a memory foam mattress at home so that's our comparison

clean comfortable king sized bed, good location near fast food so I could walk to get a quick bite to eat.

The pool looked very inviting but the sign on the gate entrances said it was closed. Too bad , because it was 85 degrees outside when I checked in, and would have enjoyed a swim!

Breakfast was good nice selection. Sheets and comforters were comfortable. staff was friendly. Loved that there are plenty flog places for food and gas stations around.

I didn’t like that you can hear people through the walls and being downstairs you could hear people upstairs.

Very comfortable, well lit at night. The staff is very friendly the free breakfast was good.

The parking lot is not secure, had to bring into my room all my fishing tackle and poles. Gate up the place and it would be more better. The toilet was small and low to the ground I'm a husky man.

Inner court yard and pool landscaping were very nice. Quiet inside and in the inner court yard. Room was clean and nicely appointed. Good access from I-5 and easy to find. I would stay there again when travelling.

Breakfast could have been improved. Get over COVID... every where else has. A staff person to manage the breakfast service is needed. Pre-packaged food was ok but not up to previous standards. Open the breakfast room again and improve staffing. Check-in clerk was not keeping on top of the supplies (coffee out, yogurt gone, spoons missing, orange juice machine produced water). Several people had to bring those things to his attention. Maybe he had a bad night.... Again, breakfast staff is needed.

The breakfast made a welcome addition. The layout with a pool and bbq in the center was nice. The large room with a sofa made a gracious experience.

There was peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. The bed was somewhat lively.
