Clean and cozy hotel in old town of Viljandi, walking distance to cafe's, museum's, sights, second hands etc. Good breakfast in lovely setting, friendly staff. Interesting history of the building. Very clean bathroom - super! Aircon worked very fine.

Bedroom floor had some stains on it. Not a problem but good to know - current room had no openable windows, there's a glass wall/window towards inyard gallery, so no opportunity to open a window for fresh air. However it was 1 night and didn't bother us too much. If I'd stay again, would choose park/street looking window view, as I like to open window for fresh air.

The hotel has been freshly renovated, the room and the premises are immaculately clean. The consierge was very welcoming and allowed us to put the bags in the storage for free before the check-in. The location is superb - very easy to reach all the landmarks of beautiful Viljandi. The breakfast is European, quite tasty (eggs, bacon, sausages, beans etc)

These points did not really affect the quality of our stay - just mentioning as a potential room for improvement: there was no hair conditioner in the bathroom, also I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast: there was no olive oil to put on the veggies (I asked the lady behind the bar, she called someone, yet no result), no black tea (only three kinds of green tea in tea bags), no vegan/lactose free milk, and kiwis were served unpeeled so I spend some time peeling them with the regular cutlery :D

I chose this hotel mainly because of the pictures, I must admit. And I was still amazed - the architecture of that building is stunning! Our room had inner courtyard (aatrium) view - this meant that our room was not one in a row but separated with a bridge over the courtyard. Quiet, comfortable, nicely furnished, bigger than usual hotel room. Breakfast was great too. Park Hotel Viljandi is a great choice if you want to splurge a bit and love good 20th century architecture mingled with 21st century.

The hotel location is perfect, straight in the city centre. Parking was simple, easy and free. The level of service from the staff is great and pleasant. The historical building was fully refurbished in 2018, and the hotel and the room are perfectly equipped.

We had an Atrium view room. This means that the light is rather limited, and you must close the curtains for privacy at night too, making the room totally dark (which I am not a fan of). In the morning, instead of the usual morning street noises, you will hear chit-chat from other guests crossing the Atrium on their way to breakfast. It is a question of compromises.

Bacon, eggs, pancakes, smoothies, fresh orange juice, muffins, sandwiches, porridge. - Restaurant where breakfast took place had a children's corner with Legos so that was great - Free parking

- The hotel would be perfect if it also had a pool and a spa :D

Located in the true center of old town Viljandi, in the most prominent location. A modern hotel to any international standard. The building is very historic, the interior modern, renovated and stylish. All appliances seemed new and housekeeping was spotless. This is a very well managed Hotel. Staff are very polite, professional, attentive and accommodating. Internet speeds up to 100mb per second. Late check-out was available on my stay. Breakfast was buffet, meats, croissant and usual continental options + barrister coffee. Most impressive is the view, the Hotel overlooks a cute family friend park featuring the iconic landmark water tower as well as a town hall building. This is Viljandi's best Hotel. The restaurant is very good although I mostly had breakfast and coffee there.

Well designed and cozy interior with all the contemporary comforts you need.

Darkening the ceiling window at 05.50 AM was a bit annoying, bc there were no instructions how to do it and it took time for the hotell staff to realize that there is actually a way to do it. Overall it's easy and if you find the buttons on the wall, it's actually nice you can open the window.

Park Hotel was a great place to stay in Viljandi and we were very satisfied with the hotel. Our wishes regarding the location of the room were taken into account and we got a room with a very beautiful view of the park. The breakfast was very tasty and rich. The service in the restaurant is also very pleasant. We recommend!

The bed was too soft

It's perfect location and beautifully renovated building. It's really beautifully done and design is very interesting. Viljandi is a great town for a short getaway and the hotel is located perfectly in a quiet but very central location, in front of the townhall and only meters away from the old castle area. Restaurant has great food.

The room was quite small, so some of the aspects of it were difficult to use, e.g. the writing desk. It was important for me, but it was not really easy to use it as there was so little space between the table and the bed. The walls also seem to be quite thin or there were sounds coming in through ventilation, so I was woken up both mornings at 6 by the movements (probably) of cleaning staff. But these were minor inconveniences.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, stylish and well located. The room was rather spacious. Is sits right in the town square, facing historic town hall building and watertower. Couple of steps away from scienic route to Viljandi lake. Breakfast buffee arrengement with designated time slots for each room was nicely done. And finally a hotel in Estonia where they make decent scrumbled eggs. Kudos!

The bed was a bit to soft for my liking. Unfortunetally, the hotel restaurant was closed during our stay. Breafast was still offered and it was generous.
