Lovely facility with friendly helpful English speaking staff. Great building in superb condition and immaculately clean and fresh. The front courtyard is a nice place to have a drink in the evening and the staff are always helpful and attentive. Breakfast is excellent and the best eggs we had the entire trip by the way. We had two rooms both of which were excellent and the air conditioning was excellent by any standard considering it was in a heatwave, so very happy with that. Also liked the small shop for a snack or drink purchase at reception.

Pity there is no restaurant or dining in house but plenty of restaurants nearby.

What an absolutely perfect home base for exploring the Chateaux of the Loire. This lovely place is charming, immaculate, comfortable, and welcoming. The Chateau Royal d'Amboise towers just next door. The town with its restaurants and shops is just a few blocks away--a quick, easy walk. Breakfast couldn't be better! The innkeepers are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Arranged for a driver to take us to far-flung Chateaux we wanted to see. Our spacious room was in the sweet little "cottage" across the drive from the hotel's main building.

There is nothing I can think of that would have made our stay better. All was perfect!

Excellent location to walk around the sights of Amboise. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Room bright and airy and spacious by European standards. Has an air of comfortable luxury! Breakfast was tasty and plentiful

While it wasn’t a problem for us, there is no elevator up 2 flights.

Beautiful Hotel on the river. Gregory was very helpful and recommended a wonderful restaurant and what to see in town. Our room had a view of the Castle from our bathroom window. My husband and I highly recommend this property! Also a very nice breakfast at the property. 😎

Bedroom was very spacious, very comfortable bed with aircon on a very hot day. Lovely walk in shower. Communal areas very smart and welcoming.

Breakfast was very good but for the price we have had better in other hotels.

the decor and “feel” of the interior spaces feel tired and a tad shabby. could use some freshening up. rugs are beige and boring, wallpaper has faded. not a deal breaker for a hotel, just a suggestion to amp up the charm. Rooms could have a bit more pizazz too; they are very bare bones.

The hotel and rooms are lovely. We had two rooms and both had nice views of the chateau and / or the river. It is a very short pleasant walk to the old town where there are many restaurants and bars. Parking in front of the hotel is accessible and easy. The staff were friendly and very helpful with recommendations and bookings. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Location was great, a very short walk to the town and shops/ restaurants. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. After a very comfortable night, we were too late to make breakfast but they brought to our room so we wouldn’t miss out!

It’s a perfect location to visit the town. It sits on the banks of the river and we had a wonderful view of the Loire. We had one of the attic rooms which was Small but extremely comfortable and quiet. The staff was delightful and very accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was adequate but expensive. For €19 it was much better to go into town.

Recommend putting a little creamer in the room to put in your coffee. Everything else was wonderful.b
