We loved the room in this "old fashioned" French hotel with very high ceilings, large windows opening onto a courtyard with fragrant Jasmine flowers in bloom. The location is right in the center of town, easy access to the tramlines, pedestrian zone and restaurants. The bed was excellent, the bathroom was modern and clean. The breakfast was very generous and the staff friendly and helpful.

It would be nice to have more electrical outlets in the room. We were on the first floor and could easily walk up a flight of stairs. There was no elevator for someone with mobility challenges. There may have been a room on the groundfloor for a handicapped person, the groundfloor restroom was accessible.

Beautiful room with a wet room shower which was perfect for my husband who has mobility issues. Staff were really lovely and very willing to help. A beautiful building with beautiful high ceilings and double high doors. Bed was very comfortable.

Leaving at 7am on morning of departure meant I had to find a parking place outside of the hotel grounds as the gates would not be open until 7.30am. As there was a festival in the town finding a parking space necessitated driving around for 45 minutes for a space quite a long walk away from the hotel. This impacted my timeframe in the morning for leaving the hotel. There was a lot of noise at night and early in the morning due to the festival and a lot of the revelers seemed to go past the hotel.

Enormous, stylish room. Both the room and bathroom were large. Distinctively furnished. Felt more like a B&B instead of a hotel. Loved the king sized bed and there was plenty of space in addition. Location. Very close to a square with a few restaurants. Not much further to very happening area at night. Friendly staff throughout

Parking. There is limited parking, which is fine. Just make sure you arrive early to get a space. Or else you might find yourself parking in a ramp that is closed on Sundays. :( Breakfast was adequate but probably not worth the price. A small refrigerator would be a nice addition. Minor complaint here.

The room was a good size, we were given a room separate from the main building which was perfect as we have two small dogs. The secure parking was an important part of our decision and the location was perfect for walking into the town

The shower fitting was peculiar and had to be handheld to direct the water, minor but inconvenient

It was good to have car parking in the grounds of the hotel and the owners were very helpful and helped to carry our suitcases up the stairs. Lovely breakfast was provided. The shower head was in a fixed position and too high for my wife. However, this was not a big issue but would have been better to be able to adjust the height.

There was a problem getting wifi at the hotel and the problem was not resolved!!

The rooms are a very good size and the bathrooms are very modern. The staff very kindly made the effort to post our daughter’s toy back to us when she left it in the room upon check out.

Not that I didn’t like, but be aware that the rooms were quite high up where we stayed which my elderly father struggled with

Very central for walking into the city. Private parking was important as we were carrying bikes on the back of our car and needed them to be secure. This was very well organised by the hotel and they managed to squeeze in a lot of cars into a small specie!

The central location was perfect. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel had lots of character. Car parking on site was a real bonus. Breakfast was very good - plenty of choice. A very comfortable stay.

The decor was a little tired.

Lovely, characterful property, with happy, helpful staff & very well located with paid parking available.

Unfortunately no lift, nor air conditioning, but we did appreciated the fan & water provided in the room. Watch out for some uneven floors

The location is great, very central. When we arrived there was a political protest, people smashing glass and burning rubbish bins, this gave us a negative first impression, but in fact the city is very nice and we had no issues.
