Stunning building in beautiful garden, and in a great location for exploring this part of Provence. The village is small with few facilities, but lovely and peaceful. The restaurant at the hotel serves excellent breakfast, and the dinners are quite simply superb. A set menu is provided on reception in the morning for you to peruse. Probably the best food I've ever eaten, and therefore incredible value for money. The young chef is excellent. Meals are taken outside in the garden, which is just delightful. The staff are friendly, and parking is easy within the grounds of the hotel.

The rooms are a little smaller than I expected, but have all that you need. It would have been really nice to have the pool heated, unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy on our visit in September, despite the gloriously hot weather.

The setting and hotel is beautiful. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Pool area is very good, with towels and sunbeds for guests. Free parking. Dressing gowns and slippers provided. Cleaned every day. Possibility of dinner (one fixed menu option, closed Wednesday and Saturday).

No kettle / drinks facilities in standard or superior rooms (I would expect this for four stars). Drinks too expensive (€6 for a bottle of beer). WiFi is not reliable.

The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and the grounds were gorgeous, well maintained and inviting. We loved the location and the town of Boulbon, a very charming French village!

Beautiful hotel with excellent facilities and attention to detail. Lovely peaceful relaxing gardens and swimming pool. We also liked the staff who were very professional with very high standards, yet also friendly and helpful.

We liked everything

The property was beautiful and characteristic of the area. It had a lovely outdoor area with a pool and seating. it was tranquil and picturesque.

I can’t really fault the hotel. I would highly recommend to anyone travelling to this side of Provence. The owner was lovely and the atmosphere was amazing.

Excellent breakfadt

We made a reservation for 3 days not having visited Boulbon before. We were delighted with La Bastide and the location. The hotel is impeccably maintained—never a branch out of place—and the rooms are airy and comfortable. The pool is lovely and it is so nice to lounge with snacks and wine. Most of all, the staff is so welcoming and helpful. We look forward to returning next year.

Nothing except the pillows could be better.

Excellent hotel in every way - we plan to return which is rare for us. Every comfort was considered. It's based in a lovely friendly village around 10 miles from Avignon and not much further from Arles.

Excellent and served in courtyard. Plenty of choice. Gluten free for one. Wonderful yoghurt, fruit everything one could want
