The hotel is perfectly located near the cathedral at the top of the walled old city of Autun, in a converted nunnery. My room, at the front of the hotel was is the oldest part of the building, was large with high ceilings and a wealth of original features. The room was spotlessly clean with a large comfortable bed, the breakfast in the morning was good with a large selection of home made produce. The secure parking beneath the hotel was easy to access and convenient. All in all excellent value and will definitely stay again if in Autun.

We had the standard room, with a view of the garden and of the countryside, room with two windows, a lot of light and more spacious than we expected. The bed was king size and good mattress. The breakfast at 14€ was very good, a lot of choice and very fine things (salty cakes, a lot of different madeleine, very good baguette and viennoiserie, salmon, delicious fresh fromage blanc, delicious pruneaux, charcuterie, brownies,,, ). The plaace is beautiful and the rooms are pretty for my taste. Air conditioning was not working but we opened the window at nigth to get the fresh air.

I arrived early and while I didn't have access to the room, the staff was very welcoming as they were throughout my stay. As there is on site parking, it was easy to leave my bags in the car. My room overlooked gardens -- and, beyond, hills -- which provided lots of seating and a great view of the sunset. Moreover, the hotel was less than 5 minutes by foot to the cathedral and historic center of town. And 10 minutes more on foot brought me to a robust Friday morning market.

Our 2 night stay was excellent with a dual aspect room overlooking the garden and the surrounding countryside. The underground parking was perfect for us and the breakfast was incredible. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the aircon in the room was very welcome.

The building, view and unbelievable breakfast

The bedroom was modern with everything you would expect from a modern hotel... but we are in an old beautiful building and i would have enjoyed a different set up more in the vibe of the history of the building.

The courtyard, breakfast, congenial staff that made dinner reservations for us. Secure parking. Great pocation.

Covers too warm, no temp control. One night guests were extremely noisy/ inconsiderate, (1 - 3::30 am), with no intervention by management. Bathroom nice but no place to put soap while showering. Water runs out of shower area into bathroom.

This hotel was so great! Staff was helpful, the room was quiet and comfortable and had a nice, deep tub. But the setting was amazing! A former convent with charming architecture and beautiful grounds. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. My husband requested an omelette and the staff happily accommodated him. We sat in the garden with our coffee and croissants.

I was surprised at how nice, spacious and practical the rooms were. There were just a few pieces of furniture but with an amazingly amount of storage space with a wonderful vier of the garden. It was one of the better rooms we had during our 3-week trip through France.

14 Euros for breakfast. We decided not to eat there.

Nice room, recently renovated in a an ancient building with lots of charm. Underground Parking available and great breakfast in the morning. The old city of Autun is beautiful just a few steps away

Old buildings come with their difficulties

Very picturesque. Rooms were very clean. Great location and views. Underground garage for our motorbikes. Fridge in room was good. Staff very friendly.

No air con. Shower screen did not stop water from going all over Bathroom floor. Breakfast was a bit expensive, so ate in the town.
