I LOVE this hotel … it’s possibly now my favourite ever, toppling the previous one which cost 4 times the price. The design is impeccable, from both an aesthetic and a practical perspective. The bedrooms and public rooms are beautifully decorated; the beds are super comfortable, and the aircon/mini bar really quiet. The windows have two sets of double glazing, which completely blocks out any traffic noise ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep. Breakfast was tasty, plentiful with lots of choice and good value. Would definitely recommend.

The member of staff who greeted us was delightful, helpful and welcoming, we love this hotel and it’s central location close to the station and all the city centre amenities. rooms are well designed , clean and comfortable. we’ve stayed here once before in the past six months. It is dog friendly.

Breakfast was a disappointment. We ate at 9 am. breakfast was being served until 10 am, the scrambled egg and bacon were beautifully cooked but left to go cold in the saving tureen which wasn’t heated. There weren’t any plates for the bacon and egg. just one tea plate allocated per person. Staff were cleaning tables with an an antibacterial household product which was being liberally sprayed within 30cm of our breakfast- not acceptable.

We loved this hotel and it’s staff. Beautiful decor throughout. A very comfortable quiet (despite central location) spacious bedroom in which all the required fixtures were well thought out and elegant. I was so comfortable here that I may have accidentally left some clothes hanging in the wardrobe. the nearby sister hotel kindly accommodated a pushbike for us. Free parking available in local station underground car park, by prior arrangement with the hotel. Quality breakfast and excellent location.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous - the decor throughout is stunning. The room was also amazing, and the bed really comfortable. The reception staff also assisted us with unloading our car - we had some extra luggage which they kindly stored for us so that it did not clutter our room.

We arrived in a car and it was quite challenging to stop to unload luggage. The hotel has private parking available but is about 300m walk if you have large or heavy luggage.

The room was incredibly comfortable, excellent size with an extremely comfortable bed and one of the best hotel showers I have experienced. The location is great, on the edge of the old town which is a couple of minutes walking and should you chose to eat at Maison Pic, this is also accessible by walking. The staff were extremely friendly and breakfast was lovely. Note - there is a station across the road from the hotel, this is the local station and not the one you arrive at via the TGV, that one is outside town.

A minor issue - Wifi seems to be regulated so some online games didnt work.

The young lady on reception was very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is an easy walk to the centre of town. Although the area is busy and the station is just across the road the room was exceptionally quiet due to its 2 x double glazing system. Will definitely visit again.

The hotel parking is about 350 metres away, which feels longer when carrying luggage. However, it is very secure and worth the extra for peace of mind - we left lots of bags etc. The lighting in the rooms is very subtle, would have liked the option to increase the light.

lovely owner making you feel at home immediately. the rooms are very nicely equipped and it is very quiet - which allows for a good night rest. Once rested a wonderful and rich breakfast awaits you with a very nice cheese selection, bread, honey, eggs and a lot more. I was staying there the third time and would go back anytime

clean and comfortable room, parking right in front of the hotel. Double windows ensure it’s super silent in the room even though you’re looking out on the train station. Correct value for money

the gym is nothing to write home about: too hot and wobbly equipment

Good centrally-located location for exploring the city. Secure (off-site) parking at the underground car park at the railway station opposite, Hotel Victoria provide a car park exit ticket to use for free parking. The room was clean and quiet, and overlooked the station. We did not have breakfast, so cannot comment on it. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. If we return to Valence we will certainly stay here again.

Pillows a little hard

the staff were lovely. exceptionally clean. The bed was so comfortable and welcome touches e.g. bathrobes provided. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The city of Valence did not disappoint and the hotel is in its heart, but very quiet. no noise heard from outside. Would definitely stay here again if in this area.
