A decent hotel in the perfect location to explore Auxerre. Easy parking. Lots of restaurants nearby. Clean and comfortable bed,Delightful staff couldn’t do enough to help.

For a 4 star hotel the bathroom was very tired with a rubbish shower, bad lighting and in general need of a refit.

We had two rooms in July ‘24. Great location in a very pretty town. A clean and well run hotel. Buffet breakfast very good with eating it outside possible if desired. The hotel worked well for our family and was a good choice. The reception staff are very polite and helpful and our room was bright and clean with a comfortable bed and bedding. Several restaurants within easy walking distance. Suggest reservation if a table is required on the pleasant river bank across the road from the hotel.

The single lane road runs quite close to the outside seating area. The car park is rather tight for a large car.

Location was excellent and very close to the centre, breakfast good with hot and cold food on offer to a high standard. Underground parking was also convenient using hotel de ville public parking 50m away and getting a reduced rate from the hotel.

Room was warm as AC was set at 23 deg. C and would not go lower and as the temperature outside that day was 35+ it was a little warm. Probably a one off so maybe not an issue in future.

A beautiful property on the quai of the river Yonne. The room was comfortable and the Wi-Fi excellent. The off street parking with EV charging worked very well for us. Staff were lovely.

We paid extra for the river view. I’d save your money unless it’s winter as all we could see was the avenue of trees outside our window!

I liked the location and found it easy to locate the hotel when driving through the town. It is essential to reserve a parking space as the turn into the hotel is sharp and parking in the vicinity is busy and difficult. Comfortable and I enjoyed staying there. Convenient for visiting the old town.

The location of the hotel was excellent - right beside the river. Great sight seeing at the door. Our receptionist was extremely helpful, eg recommending a local restaurant - Le Maison Fort which was lovely with great food- as well as a few other small things. We were able to store our bags for a few hours before departure.

We weren’t able to connect to wifi in our room, although it was fine in the lounge. I’m sure they’re fixing this as I write.

The location by the riverfront walk and close to the centre of the city.

The lobby and restaurant area are worn-out looking and need some spicing up. Also, the view of the river from the rooms is now almost totally obstructed by the trees, but perhaps this can not be corrected.

The staff were very helpful, the location is fantastic, we walked everywhere from the hotel. The hotel overlooks the river and is lovely location with ability to walk on the river promenade which was a bonus. Restaurants were all close by. Above all wonderful staff.

The room was lovely……Location was perfect, but more than anything was the extraordinary staff! I have a special thank you thank you message for AGATHE.  my grandson and I chose to stay at this hotel in this time, particularly to see a football game and she went to extraordinary means to get us the best possible tickets and she did it with both patience and grace! 

There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like about the property it was 100% perfect!

Lovely site by river and excellent secure parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. No dinner available in the hotel but there are good restaurants very close by which the staff offered to book for us.

If using secure parking a warning not to miss entrance would be helpful as it's on a one way road and you have to find your way around the road system to get back! This road was busy on arrival but quiet overnight.
