Very friendly staff in all aspects from check in to dinner and breakfast. Dinner was amazing and far exceeded our expectations also with a good choice of wine. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Buffet breakfast was great with a range of hot and continental options to suit all of our family. We would 100% stay here again. We also left something behind by mistake and the staff were incredible in reuniting us with it!! They went over and above. I’d give this review more than ten stars if I could. Thank you and we will return!

Nothing, the hotel and staff exceeded our expectations

The location was easy to find, the meal good and the room large , light and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay with you. Staff were cheerful and obliging.

We ordered a bottle of wine of a certain year, and the bottle that came was slightly different, but no one warned us of that before it was opened. It was less expensive, but this is an establishment based around wines. It would have been nice if we had been told it was not available - we may have chosen differently.

The building have been sympathetically modernised and upgraded within the walls of the old priory. The grounds are a pleasure to walk around. The swimming pool is well located in the spacious gardens. The breakfast, taken outdoors on a lovely shaded terrace, was delicious. Having a Michelin starred restaurant was a surprise on booking, but was absolutely fabulous. The staff were all friendly, courteous and discreet.

Our room was comfortable for our 2 night stay. There was a good selection of breads, cereals, fruit and yogurt for breakfast, although it was a bit of scrum for hot drinks. The restaurant and bar area were nicely decorated and light.

The ticket system for breakfast seemed redundant as there were no staff checking it.

Thé restaurant for dinner, great staff and lovely meal. Breakfast disappointing, poor selection of fruit, food and pastries on offer.

Thé decor looked dated and our room was small, there was a large stain on the carpet by the lift. No glass and no china only a paper cup to drink from, very disappointing. Bed comfortable but very uncomfortable chair and only one!

Rooms very nice and clean. We used 2 rooms next to each other with a door between them, perfect! Very nice to have a small swimming pool after traveling! Closed parking for the night, perfect.

All ok, slightly more choice of breakfast would be perfect.

Room was clean and comfortable and quiet, I have stayed at this Ibis for many years ! Staff are always friendly and helpful whenever I have needed assistance.

The evening Menu was limited as I understand there was a large Touring Coach Party to cater for , and I had to wait about one and a half hours, because I had not made a reservation, as I have not done so in my previous visits without any problem.

Easy to get to. Quiet and a great night sleep. Safe Parking available . Very clean. Very good service at reception

The dinner was disappointing. We both had steak and it was so tough we couldn’t chew it . It was well cooked so obviously poor quality meat. When I said it was chewy there was not much reaction. To be honest I should have sent them both back. I would have done in UK. The portion of cheese was very small . So the whole meal represented poor value. We had a lovely bottle of wine ( that wasn’t cheap). It was a shame as the previous year we had a fantastic steak .

Overpriced dinner in the restaurant. We found the service excellent if a little too formal, perhaps the staff could relax to a certain extent, not everything needs to be served on a tray though at those prices maybe people expect silver service.
