The hotel is very good, excellent breakfast (paid separately), kind staff. The location is at the top of the city, just a few steps from the viewpoint where you can see a wonderful sunset and where tourists flock to see the city from the top of the cliffs, the parking lots nearby are always full. There is exclusive parking at the hotel for guests. Super close to the center of the upper city, where there are several shops and restaurants. But getting to the lower town (where the marina and more shops and restaurants are) is far and tiring due to the hills and stairs. The ideal is to rent a car (although there are few parking lots in the city), as we discovered when we got there that there are only 8 taxis in the city, making it impossible to get one, in addition to being super expensive (more expensive than the daily rental of 1 car ).

There was no minibar in the rooms, we couldn't even have ice water in heat of almost 40 degrees Celsius.

The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning! It was close to walk to the beautiful old town and it is a must to go down the Aragorn stairs. It is a lot of stairs but it is absolutely worth it. World war II bunkers and a fantastic view of the lighthouse is very close to the hotel. Surprisingly easy access by car to the hotel. It is a must to go to Plage petit Sperone. It's a bit tricky to get there but you won't regret it. It is amazing. The Lavezzi islands was also a great experience. Especially the boat trip home where you could view Bonifacio up close.

We did miss a swimmingpool though but that is not really a problem because there are many beautiful beaches nearby.

The hotel is on the top of the cliff in line with the old town, making for easy walking and great views if you have a high room. The room was decorated with a great mural and the furnishings were good quality and comfortable. The refrigerator was very small, but the lady at reception was helpful with a little jug of milk each day for coffee, which you can make yourself in your room. We had a lovely view over the cemetery end of the peninsula and the sea. When we couldn’t reach a taxi service from the port, the hotel sent a service to collect 5 of us and our baggage which was very helpful, though expensive at 40 euros. Parking was easy and a car would have been a good way to get there.

Our bathroom lacked a toilet roll holder and a rest for the hand shower, which made life quite awkward. Our travelling companions had these in other rooms, so it was perhaps just our room.

Amazing location of the hotel on the cliffs, modern well designed room.

Older lady at the reception was not so friendly :) It seems a bit too much to pay over 300 euros/ night for the room and then pay extra 17 euros per person for the breakfast, which was OK but not worth it - that could have been complementary. Besides beautiful location and the bar that is open 24/7, the hotel doesn't have any other facilities.

Position. Room. we had junior suite which big spacious and modern. air conditioned with balcony view of old town and white cliffs. breakfast room with views to Sardinia and an all you can eat quality breakfast. The staff, with a smile and friendly help even drove us to ferry with our luggage because taxis were busy at Figaro airport. Btw, hotel confirmed we could drop off hire car at Figaro airport & catch taxi back to hotel. Easily done and taxis charge by meter fare so no overcharging. cost 55 euro which we thought reasonable given the convenience & the fact there is no other way to get from Figaro airport to Bonifacio.

The staff were great and helpful. For example, on our last day there, we had to get a taxi from the hotel to the airport to pick up our rental car. The staff member helped us negotiate a good price for the taxi. The breakfast was excellent. The room was also lovely, a decent size, with a great view across the channel back toward Sardinia. We liked the isolated location on the edge of the world. This meant a bit of a walk into the historic town, but for us, the dramatic setting of the hotel and the short, enjoyable walk were well worth it.

Some people might like to be closer to town or to the action at the port. It's quite a walk from the port (where the ferry comes in) to the hotel--especially if you're dragging your bags.

The location is perfect for a haven away from the Bonifacio crowds, but within short walking distance to the citadel, its attractions and many restaurants. Our studio room was extremely comfortable and it suited us perfectly!

Breakfasts, for the price charged for the room, were too expensive, with limited choice, and consisted of cold options only. I would have expected for the superior room that we had booked, that such a breakfast ought to have been included in the room rate, from our extensive travel experience and stays elsewhere. The WiFi internet access was also variable, from good to extremely slow. Could do with improving!

The hotel is located at the top of Bonifacio with a wonderful view of the Mediterranean Sea, including Sardinia. The hotel is accessible to the old part of the wonderful city of Bonifacio. Breakfast has several options and the view from the balcony is magnificent to start the day. Reception staff was always professional and friendly. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean.

The hotel is a little expensive, but it is fair price for the accommodation and for the details throughout the Hotel.

This hotel is superbly located a short walk from the center of the medieval village of Bonifacio, which is perched on cliffs overlooking the marina. The town center and the marina have a lot of traffic, so being in a hotel on the edge of town, looking out over the chalk cliffs and the sea (with a big hotel parking lot), was perfect. The room wasn't large, but it was big enough and certainly comfortable and attractive, and the view made up for everything. We were also walking distance from lots of good restaurants for dinner.

very interesting building from earlier times, like a bastion lonely on the rock, beautifully transformed into a very tastefully furnished hotel. the breakfast room with a view all the way to sardinia is fantastic.

on the very decorative bedside lamp, like a transparent glass hedgehog with pointed spikes, i got three small painful pricks on my head when i bent over clumsily. but it didn't bleed for long, ha ha
