The location was excellent. Very quiet with a lovely park type garden leading down to a small river. The parking was well off a small country road on the outskirts of the village and totally secure during the night - especially useful for cars laden for holidays. The dinner was first class and imaginative and reassuring that all of France had not yet succumbed to the plague of fast food. Our room was palatial, quiet and looked out over the gardens. Perfect rest for a long journey. 🙂🙂

Excellent dining experience, gourmet meals! The grounds were beautiful. The staff truly made every effort to make the overall experience enjoyabe. Very clean and well managed.

The toilet was in a tiny closet. I had to pull my feet way back under the toilet in order to close the door. There would definitely be problens with the knees of anyone over 6 feet tall.

Ideal overnight location following ferry from Cherbourg to Poole. Left ferry at 2.30pm arrived location just before 8pm. Evening meal was excellent as was the table set out in the garden. Room and bed very comfortable and superb breakfast in the morning to set us on our way again. Hosts very accommodating and spoke some English which helped as our French is limited.

The food Was exceptionally good

the garden was beautiful and the diner at the terrace in front of the authentic house in a great atmosphere

the room was very small , but sufficiënt. the room was not very clean. there were for example some hairs from previous guests in the bathroom. the wine at the diner was to expensive(€7) for one glass. that is not like we experience in other french restaurants. it is also not necessary. currently luckily more persons like to drink one glass of wine during diner instead of a whole bottle

Evening meal was excellent. But breakfast was appalling at extra cost, no good choices & the little fruit was out of date! The worst breakfast we have experienced as seasoned international travellers.

Wrongly allocated bad annexe room, booking. Com confirmed 10 February 2023 we had a room with tiles & marble which the annexe did not have. It was a very small, tired annexe room & electric sockets falling off walls, rain leakage stains from windows, it was disgusting. However after 2 discussions with management our room was finally changed to main hotel building & the manager, Arnaud, said we should not have booked through Booking. Com as would have been cheaper booking direct with hotel to which I asked if moving to main hotel would be same price as annexe, he said yes, same. When we were moved he said he would not charge extra as rooms more expensive than annexe!! - you should sort this matter out with the hotel as we shall not be recommending it in spite of booking through Booking. Com, we are very disappointed with both Booking. Com & the Logis. One final point, no one expects the hotel manager to talk openly with us, as guests, about other, allegedly, VIP guests arriving. This is poor etiquette.
