Where to begin with this absolute gem of a hotel! Four gorgeous, individually decorated rooms, attached to the most charming traditional stone house (on its own bit of land). The uninterrupted views over the hills (from a private turquoise infinity pool, no less) are breathtaking. The host, Petra, was warm and welcoming, helpful with restaurant recommendations and even a gave us a lovely glass of wine by the pool. A super kind Dutch lady who spoke perfect English and French. The rooms do not have air conditioning (like most places in the south of France) but the room's fan was actually very good. The breakfasts were a real highlight, freshly made and delicious. Great location (about 15 minutes' walk or five minutes' drive from the centre of Callian, idyllic little French village with pedestrianised cobbled streets and an old monastery. Close enough to spend a day at the lake, too. It's extremely peaceful, perfect for couples (although older children would enjoy too). There were so many lovely little touches. Can't wait to go back!

The price of such an amazing, peaceful location is a bit of an uphill walk into Callian - wear comfy shoes!

So much love for the detail…this place is a dream…very quiet and good for relaxation. The owners are really friendly and service oriented. The breakfast was so beautiful presented and nothing was missing for my opinion. Will come back soon.

Exceptional stay! The hostess Petra takes care of her guests with great dedication. Little surprises like a glass of rosé and a small snack after arrival, or a glacé brought to the pool sweetened our stay. We would love to come back anytime!

We didn't mind it, but maybe the Wi-Fi reception could be strengthened a bit so that the Wi-Fi can also be used on the room's balcony or by the pool.

We had a fantastic stay at Chambre d'hôtes Cottes! This quaint hotel is tucked away in the hills, but still within a walking distance of the center of Callian. Rooms are stylish with pleasant views over the valley. We were warmly welcomed by Petra, who was an incredibly friendly hostess. All the service was provided with a lovely personal touch.

This is beautiful place to stay near a stunning medieval village. Great location, views, easy walk to the village. A welcoming glass of Rose, dinner in village, soak in the huge bath tub made for a evening we’ll never forget.

Petra was super nice and made us feel right at home. The House is brand new, and the breakfast was superb. Unfortunately, we didn’t stay long enough to also enjoy the pool, as we had to leave the next day.

Lovely French Breakfast from a great Host. Everything was exceptional fresh and beautifully done. The breakfast is often served outside on a beautiful terrace. The Rooms are very charming with one of the nicest beds I ever had.

Excellent location and the view of the valley was incredible. Petra was a wonderful host. She made dinner reservations for us at a great local restaurant and served a gourmet breakfast.
