we had a very warm welcome and were pleasantly surprised that we were allocated an upgraded room. The whole of the hotel was very well presented but our room was both of ample not to say generous size with a small patio/garden to the front for relaxed sun bathing. The breakfast provision was excellent with almost everything you could think of being available and made for an excellent start to the day sitting in the dining room with its panoramic views.

The hotel was just outside the main village but walking distance from the bus stops that we used to visit most of the major sites, it was also walking distance from the mégalithes. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English which helped with our conversations. The room was of good size and clean. WiFi was excellent. Did not eat breakfast but it looked wonderful.

If you are arriving by train or bus it is an uphill hike from the main town and/or bus stop.

The hotel is exceptionally located. The silence is absolute the garden agreeable and well tended. A beautiful tree (americen pine tree?) of 120 years is the compagnon of the travelers....

The restaurant is very pleasant traditional but with a good modern trend. The "menu du jour" is different every day but it is possible to mix "à la carte" and "menu du jour" . This flexibility is a real plus.

Lovely hotel, perfectly situated in Carnac, right next to the Tumulus of St Michel & in walking distance of a portion of the alignments. We enjoyed a fantastic meal in the restaurant & the customer service was excellent. There was a flash sale for a 15min massage, which I decided to take up & I can say that it was incredible for the short time. The room was fine, clean & comfortable. The only thing is there was a rumbling for much of the day we couldn't make out, it feels like trains are running underneath, however, it stopped before we went to sleep. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Massive room. Good facilities. Lovely staff.Garden and sea view. Large bed. Lovely location not too far from the beach...5 min dirve. Good terrace outside the room. I left something in the room and the staff called to tell me I had left an item of clothing.

Room needed a bid of a refresh.no air-conditioning and it was super hot when we stayed.

Staff was very accommodating despite not receiving our booking from the booking.com site. The two rooms were large and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent as well as dinner at the restaurant. However dinner was a bit pricey. Lovely location and the tumulus behind the hotel is fascinating and a great spot to watch the sunset.

One of the rooms had thermostat issues that no one at the hotel really did or could do anything about (it was a smart thermostat and apparently set at the wrong temp and could not be controlled from the room). The wifi also has some issues if you are not staying in the main building.

Excellent breakfast with many home made cakes. A lovely pool in a good setting. Very helpful staff.

Room needed updating and in the summer would need air-con. The spa needed developing properly, at the moment it is only an apology which appeared to be somewhat unused.

What a fabulous place! The location was perfect with tumulus St Michel right behind the hotel and the town just a few minutes walk away where the market takes place on Sundays and Wednesdays. There was plenty of parking. Our room was large and light with a very comfy bed and a beautiful view of the sea. The swimming pool was perfect. The food was fantastic - we had delicious dinners.

We liked everything

This hotel is not new, but is ageing very well - making a very pleasant stay. The restaurant must be the best in the locality - excellent preparation, presentation - and who would have thought that pear (poached I think) would go so well with the steak!

It is a nice "small Inn" in a good location. The tumulus is right behind the Inn and an easy walk with a great view. For us it was a one night stay to see the stones and the beaches. The dining room is very nice and the swimming pool looked nice but we didn't use it. The view from our room was stunning ... we could see the ocean in the distance. Very clean and very helpful staff. There is a nice trail system behind the Inn that offers a pleasant walk in some woods on the way to the stones.

Nothing. It met all of our expectations.
