This centrally located hotel has a very pretty garden in which to have breakfast and clean, comfortable rooms. We were lucky enough to find free local parking. The hotel is set on a small square which is made up of attractive traditional buildings. The furnishing were very nice and in keeping with the age of the building.

The breakfast was very good but set out in quite a small area, so at times it was quite difficult to get drinks and food, without being elbow to elbow with other guests

We wanted a quiet little town with a nice hotel, and Hotel des Consuls exceeded our expectations. First of all, the hotel, quaint, old style, matched the photos, which doesn't often happen. We had a lovely room , comfortable bed, nicely decorated, overlooking the village square. The owner was friendly and helpful, and advised us straightaway to book a table at the restaurant if we were going to have dinner in the village. There's a lovely terraced area at the back, and also a large plunge pool. I would recommend here as a place to get away from the crowds, and explore the area, we visited several lovely villages all within an hours drive.

The room was good. Parking wasn't an issue. We had friends who lived in town, so we didn't have breakfast at the hotel. So can't comment on that. The room had a lovely view of the town courtyard/square......... which was unlucky.

Our timing for the visit. It coincided with a town festival. Despite double glazing, the sound of the rock band and the recorded music kept us up until 2am. We joined in for a while. Not the hotel's fault.

Welcoming and kind staff...supported me when I temporarily lost my phone!. Very clean. Cool inside when temperatures were rising outside. Unexpectedly good for very reasonable price...central position with great traditional restaurant next door.

For price I had no complaints.

A gem of a hotel, fine old building on the small square at the heart of a bastide town. Our room was lovely, elegant, spacious with a fine bathroom, and best of all, it led on to an internal courtyard which was so peaceful and pleasant to sit on. The patron was charming

Room on the second floor was quiet, comfortable and clean. Staff Marc was friendly and helpful. It was great to have a lift providing easy access to my room. Also helpful that the front door was not locked at night.

I would have liked a kettle in my room.

Since my husband and I were travelling with a friend we needed a room for 3. The one we got had an interesting layout, but provided good privacy. It was quite large and it accommodated us all well. The breakfast was sumptuous - by far the best we have had in France.

The key to the room was very difficult to use - made worse by having to stand in the rain in an outside corridor. It would have been nice to have some soap and shampoo provided, although there was a hair dryer.

The host was exceptionally nice, and wonderfully helpful. I could not have asked for a more gracious, friendly, and welcoming host. Room was clean, and faced the main plaza, and I really could not have asked for a better stay.

We were delighted with our stay. Our room was as described. The general facilities were better than described and M Marc the patron was very helpful throughout.

I'd really like to go back and spend more time at Hotel des Consuls

The location and scenery, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the hotel had a lovely friendly family feeling and the history of the Hotel and town was brilliant.

Nothing, everything was lovely.
