The Originals City, Hôtel Les Bruyères, Dax Nord (Inter-Hotel)

Good location, close to the motorway but not noisy at all. Very clean, fast check in and check out procedures, AC in the room, plus kettle. There is a 10% discount at the restaurant next door for the hotel’s guests (the food was great by the way). Typical breakfast (eggs, bacon, yogurt, cheese, cereals, pastries, coffee) - nothing less or more than the basics, but it will do. They accept pets and there are plenty of green spaces around to walk your dog. Safe parking. We were hesitant as to which motorway accommodation to choose for our road trip but this turned out to the a great choice, would definitely recommend!

Maybe some room for improvement with the breakfast offering - some vegetables and perhaps more protein options for the long road ahead.

Location of hotel perfect was adjacent to motorway, with spacious free parking, there was a secure enclosure for a fee: Although very close to motorway, we did not find it noisy with traffic. Hotel was pleasant clean, receptionist helpful & efficient. Room was very adequate for an overnight stop, modern clean comfortable, bathroom with good shower. We were able to have dinner at the restaurant next door to hotel with a 10% discount upon showing our hotel details, meal was good. We cannot comment on breakfast as we did not have breakfast.

After having travelled for 10 hours it would have been nice to be able to relax & sit outside hotel and enjoy a cold drink as it was extremely hot & sunny, however there is a McDonalds on other side of hotel which had a pleasant shaded area, so we walked around there., not a problem

Exactly as expected. Nice room. Functional and clean with tea and coffee. Recently renovated. Everything worked. No frills. We stayed here in order to have the dog cleared for travel to the UK on our way back from Spain. Checked in and drove 15 minutes to Leon which has a lake, dog friendly beach and dog friendly restaurants for dinner. We had a very passable dinner by the lake and slept well in the hotel with the car parked just outside. We checked out early and were at Adhoc Vets in Castes 4 minutes away by 8.30 in the morning, on the road by 9. Perfect.

As always milk to have with tea in the room rather than creamer would have been lovely :-)

Great Location for travelling from northern Spain to England. And very dog friendly with a nice wood to walk in a short distance away. And the air condition worked. The restaurant next door is convenient.

Nothing really. It’s a good hotel for an overnight stay. It would be good to allow dogs into the breakfast room.

Have stayed at this hotel several times it is half way between Calais and Alicante, 1 minute off motorway. they have secure overnight parking and there is a restaurant next to hotel. Unfortunately it has changed ownes since last visit and is very limited menu. there are fast food outlets within 500m

The price was a bit steep but its handy hotel, The Hotel no longer has a bar. Serves only continental breakfast.

Breakfast was very good. As much very good coffee as we wanted. The croissant and pain au chocolat were really good and the small pains were very fresh. The buffet was okay but we didn’t want that. The room was comfortable and okay size. The bathroom was very good. The location was excellent. Straight off the A63 and into the hotel and there was locked parking available which eased our worries as we had some stuff in the car we valued. The restaurant was just down the path and was excellent.

Disabled parking bay was very poorly marked. There was no fridge in the room with water for the night. Everything else was great.

The location is amazing for a sleepover. It's very near to the highway. The staff is very nice, welcoming and always with a kind smile. The bedroom had a big and comfy bed. The hotel in general is very quiet, suitable to rest after some kms. A place to return!

A hotel very well-located for an overnight stop. Good restaurant adjacent. Room was simple but modern and clean. Very close to the motorway exit, but our room was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast was buffet-style; not an extensive choice but plenty to eat. Pets allowed.

Receptionist was a little surly!

Very comfortable room and bed, very quiet, very clean, good free wifi, close to McDonald. We were late for restaurant but menu and prices looked good. Very convenient stop between Madrid and Paris, close to highway, located direction Paris, you better search for the Mc Donalds in Google maps. Very good breakfast for 10€

It is an excellent stopover for travelling from the French ports to the Costa del Sol— with a dog. We have stopped many times— in fact, every time wu travel to our home in Spain

Everything is fine. The restaurant next door is excellent & there’s a good petrol station nearby too
