Europe Hôtel

A small boutique hotel right in the centre of town, only seconds from the main square. Reception staff were amazing, friendly and approachable. The owner greeted my husband warmly on each occasion we saw him and the hotel has an atmosphere of relaxed friendly welcoming feel. Our bathroom was awesome given the room we booked, so look out for an overhead shower and not one over a bath.

Nothing I can re call

The hotel is quite pretty, with an interior patio from which guests climb or ride the elevator to their rooms. The reception desk was almost always attended. Staff were generally very helpful . The room, on the 3rd floor, was spacious and pleasant with useful furniture and closet space. The bathroom was in the room, and it was well-kept. We chose not to purchase the breakfast, as there were many nearby cafe's and bakeries. The hotel is well-situated for any walking tour of Castres.

When we reserved online, we were encouraged to reserve to eat dinner at the hotel. The dinner was a bit underwhelming, with a staff change in the very middle of it. We opted to sit outside because we are Covid-cautious. The outdoor seating was possible, which was a positive, but not well-attended. We were two of four people who ate dinner there that night. It felt as though we'd been roped in, and there were plenty of other dinner options in town.

The hotel is located in a very good position in the centre of the town, close to local amenities and restaurants. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast (paid extra) was very good. The bar is also good.

I had a room with a sunken bath, which was not really convenient for my age.

It’s quirky Appeal, high specification and location, staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome especially the owner Phillipe, can’t recommend this place high enough.

The hotel is characterful, even quirky, full of paintings and vintage pieces. We were greeted warmly and offered a choice of rooms; the one we chose was a large light room with a great shower, really comfortable bed and quality linen and towels.

We had some difficulty finding the hotel - Castres is full of little one-way streets, and the SatNav got lost. Eventually we had to park the car and look for the hotel on foot.

The location was perfect. Easy walking distance to museums, shops, and excellent restaurants. The hotel has a deal with several parking garages in the neighborhood with greatly reduced parking rates. The decor and ambient of the hotel adds to the charm of staying there. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely clean and perfect location! Staff super friendly and helpful, very quirky cool hotel. So convenient for the centre of Castre.

Everything was perfect! I’d just add a mirror in to the room as there was only mirrors in the bathroom.

What an interesting little hotel. Every inch is fascinating and the hotel is a destination in itself. My room was modern with all amenities you could want or need. One entire wall with a mural of Venice (which bears some resemblance to the homes on the canal in Castres). I believe every room is different but I suspect equally charming. The service was great, I had trouble finding the hotel and they actually came out to find me when I was stuck down the street and didn’t know how to turn my car around :). Highly recommend a stay here!

Location great,near the main square and easy walk to all main areas. Did not take advantage of the breakfast due to prior commitments.

All facilities meet our approval

It was perfect. It had a warm, homely feel. Friendly, welcoming staff did everything with a smile. They gave us ice, looked after our cakes, wine, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely historic building with thoughtful, unusual decor. Comfortable large rooms with a cosy feel. Fantastic location right in the centre. Dog friendly too. Underground parking was close by only 3e for two night.
