A beautiful old and quirky property. Frederique and her husband were very welcoming and friendly. A really nice quiet room overlooking the garden with a view of the old church. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was also very well presented. I would definitely stay again. They were very helpful - we were quite late arriving due to a lot of traffic on the motorway so she contacted us and made reservations for dinner. It’s situated on a very quiet small street and you enter through a gated courtyard.

The very warm welcome, the beautiful building, the clean facilities and the amazing bedroom. Breakfast was fresh bread, croissants, yoghurt, fresh juice, cheeses and ham was offered. I would have enjoyed some fruit with it, but we ate plenty and the room we ate in was absolutely beautiful.

Only a very minor things but there was no handsoap in our bathroom. There was shower gel though so we used that.

Beautiful house and wonderful host. Rooms are large and elegant with high ceilings and very comfortable beds. Madame de Carco is charming and helpful and so sweet to our young and annoying children. Breakfast was lovely in her dining room. Excellent value for money and the perfect stop on your way from Calais to the alps.

We had a most enjoyable stay. Frederique was very welcoming and helpful. Her home is elegant and beautifully appointed. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was abundant and served in a stylish dining room. She was able to give us good advice regarding sightseeing and dining options. Parking was easy in a parking area on the street outside the house. We would highly recommended this B&B.

A stunning house and garden. It felt a privilege to stay here. Our hostess was charming and discreet and gave us lots of tips where to visit and where to eat. The room was beautifully decorated and the whole house had an elegant charm. Neat to Fontenay Abbey, Chateau du Bussy Rabutin, Flavigny and Semur

The B+B was the most beautiful quentisentially French residence with the friendliest staff. My partner and I arrived on our motorbikes and were able to park in the courtyard so they were secure. We were recommended some good restaurants nearby and headed straight out for supper. The next morning brekkie was in the beautiful dining room and was a spectacular continental spread with fresh meats.

Nothing couldn't fault it at all.

Parking is right outside the hotel on the street in a small parking area. The owner was very welcoming and booked dinner for us in a local restaurant she recommended. She obviously knew what she was recommending as the food was superb. The room was really a suite and very spacious and also very quiet. The breakfast was excellent and a great way to start a holiday

The sign on the door outside is very discrete and so we drove past once before doubling back.

The room was on the second floor of an elegant, updated, large estate. Our room was decorated with original drawings of theatre costume designs. Breakfast was fresh croissants, baguette, assorted lovely cheeses, juice, preserves, yoghurt, French press coffee, graciously served. Madame was very helpful in recommendations for restaurants and activities.

That I could not stay for one week!

Wonderful old period house in the town of Châtillon-sur-Seine. The room was large, airy and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The owner was friendly and she very kindly provided us with delicious croissants as we had to leave very early in the morning.

Everything about Le garden de Carco was special. The property itself, the room, the breakfast, and in particular the friendly and helpful welcome from Mme Lasnier. The situation, in an older part of the town, was also special and memorable.

Couldn't be faulted in any way.
