One of the quietest hôtels I have slept in. Was making my first trip back to the UK after losing my husband very suddenly. The staff didn't know, but were all very kind and helpful. The food was also delicious and the room very confortable, as well as having curtains which kept out the light...perfect! I was worried about being on my own..particularly under the circumstances...but felt fine being a solo traveller

Beautifully furnished and finished hotel. The owners are obviously and should be very proud. Room was lovely. Dinner was fabulous. Monsieur and Madame and one very lovely waitress appeared to do everything front of house and were really delightful. I think it helps if you can try to speak a little bit of French with them.

Breakfast choice was a little underwhelming after the superb evening meal. Coffee was just filter. Not really much fresh fruit. Small selection of pastries. Carton juice. So of the 5 places IO stayed on this trip this was probably the best dinner but the worst breakfast. The room was superb, however there were no glasses, cups or tea coffee facilities, not even a bottle of water

Only stayed one night on the way to Calais, the logis was good value, clean and comfortable. The staff were accommodating and helpful even though we did not speak French which made things a little more difficult. The restaurant was not open that night but we were informed beforehand. Breakfast was good and well presented.

Good private parking & updated public areas. Excellent meal on a Saturday night in November when so many hotels don’t open their dining rooms!

Very good hotel in the center of a small well looked after in parts chabi chic town, lt has a very nice garden which was ideal for our dog and a larger park close by. The manager was very helpful and accommodating of our needs. We definitely will use again on our journeys to and from Spain.

Jean Pierre was outstanding in his efforts to help us with logistical problems in our arrangements. He was willing to make calls for us and insure we were looked after. We were so appreciative. Dinner was fabulous and the room perfect.

It’s a lovely hotel. We stayed on a Monday when the restaurant was closed and Cloyes is very quiet so drove to Chateaudun for a meal.

The location. We have used this hotel previously.

We were disappointed that the restaurant was not open, particularly as we had received an email from them to book for dinner and breakfast. This we did. They forgot to tell us the restaurant was closed on Mondays!

Breakfast was very good. Rooms were clean and well laid out. Staff were all friendly, helpful and always tried hard to please us. We were traveling down to South West France on motorcycles and used the hotel for an overnight stop, we liked the hotel so much that we booked again for our return journey.
