The room was stellar - large, modern and clean. Huge bathroom with plenty of everything. The balcony was awesome and a great place to sit out morning or evening. The bedroom was great loads of storage, chairs, nice windows onto the street, huge king bed with really comfy pillows and sheets. The rooftop pool and terrace were much appreciated a I wish we spent more time relaxing there. The attached group kitchen and living area was a real surprise - fantastic idea. A huge kitchen with everything you’d want to cook with or just toss together sandwiches for the day, plus a long table. It included espresso maker, toaster, microwave, massive oven, full fridge and beer keg! There’s a brewery and ice cream shop on the main floor too! Plus there’s a living room area with couch and chairs and tv - a hit for the rugby World Cup games. Collobrieres is a pretty town with about 5-6 restaurants and nice streets to walk up and down - not a lot else there - but pretty. Breakfast was served across the street in the restaurant on the river. It was typical French breakfast with great pastries, jams, juice, coffee and yogurt. Filling for the day.

Try your best to speak French. I am Canadian but my French is weak - I got the impression a bit more work on my French would’ve been appreciated.

This was a great surprise! We chose Collobrières as a stop on our way back home from Italy. We knew very little about it and upon arrival we were very positively surprised. This is a place you need to visit! Outside the main touristic destinations of the coast, hidden amongst forests this village is absolutely amazing. The village square is magnificent and there is beautiful streets with well kept houses to walk and enjoy. Many restaurants and cafes and there is always people around. The actual hotel was also amazing, an old village house tastefully renovated providing excellent modern accommodation in the heart of the village. Our room was in two levels offering a huge space perfect for us, our teenagers and our dogs. And the common areas offered a nice relaxing living room equipped with tv , big fridge and coffee maker. Finally an external patio with a swimming pool where you could relax and cool down. Worth mentioning that the air conditioning is one of the best we have encountered in our travels which was very much appreciated as it was 40 degrees during our stay. The breakfast offered at the restaurant across the street owned by the family was also great. We used the restaurant also for lunch and dinner and we were amazed by the quality of food. We definitely recommend this place

Everything was perfect!

The accommodation was a tasteful mix of old modernised to the latest standard. It was modernised tastefully with traditional French styling with with modern showers, and bedding. The village itself was also what one would imagine a French village to be, small friendly, but with good restaurants and helpful friendly people. I was sent an e-mail on how to check which I didn’t see which caused some confusion when I arrived, but as the receptionist spoke perfect English it was sorted out with no fuss. The village is pedestrian only (as it should be for the size and position) so cars have to be parked in the village car park. This was no issue as the walk was only 3 to 4 minutes at pleasant stroll. The hotel gave me all the information I needed. I have been travelling around Europe (France Switzerland Spain and Italy) and this was my favourite stay.

If you approach from the East (from Grimaud) the road is very scenic and twisty, but the local drivers and bikers drive very fast on what is a single track road. Ok for me, but my wife in the shotgun seat was somewhat alarmed at times! Approaching from the west is safer but not as much fun.

The team were awsome - Sebastien, Anais, Vanille, Pascal, Christoff, Thibaud and Lionel. Nothing was too much trouble at any point and they were always happy and jollly. We felt so at home. The breakfast was awesome (especially the homemade fromage blanc) and we had several meals on the Terrase, which were also exceptional. What a wonderful place to while away a lazy afternoon. The rooms in the new ennexe were large, airy, clean and comfortable - and quiet! We used the pool and terrace a great deal, as we did with the (perfectly equipped) kitchen and lounge area. The annexe has recently been refurbished and everything looked brand new. All in all, this is an exceptional hotel and restaurant, with an outstanding team in perfect surroundings. And very good value for money!

We can think of nothing that could be improved - other than we wish we were still there!

Excellent place decorated in Provencal style. Fantastic atmosphere of the location is even more amplified with its restaurant and people who care of it. A true gem and a must stay or visit for everyone who is passing through. Rarity is also the newly opened small brewery together with a beer shop. wow!!

Everything. Excellent room.

The location is quite remote. Live music in the street until midnight (Weekend in mid July). A trip to the coast could involve a longish detour or a drive over a very steep, twisty road to the top of a hill and down the other side.

Right in the middle of town, and our room had a nice view of the pool and over the rooftops of the town. A large bedroom and nice bathroom that were both recently renovated. Free car parking in a public car park two minutes walk away. Friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel name on the front would have made finding it a little easier. There is no reception desk there, it is at the bar/restaurant across the road.

Very kind and friendly staff who were accommodating to some practical needs we had. Aircon throughout smart communal areas with excellent facilities! Pool was a great break from the early afternoon heat. Large and very comfortable bed. We had supper and breakfast at their restaurant across the street on the terrace over the river - delicious local food including stunning wild boar stew and fromage blanche with chestnut cream 😍. Great French ambience and overall a fabulous experience. Thank you to all the family and staff!

Great location, very beautiful furniture…and the village itself is wonderful. The Omelette at the restaurant was amazing too!

It was very loud on the street, even with closed window…at night and in the morning. No sign on the main door when you arrive. Look for the number 10…and the beer outside the house :)
