Location,friendly staff, wonderful meal, ample breakfast. Bed so comfortable (room 5 with terrace and views) super silent effective a/c. There was nothing not to like really. Don’t be fooled by the pictures, they are old and the place is having a refurb. My room was excellently decorated in soft colours and the outside has lost the vivid green and red! And the price, unbelievable these days - superb value for money. Wished I could have stayed longer. I’m fact wanted to book for my return but not surprisingly they were full. They deserve to be. This was our first stay in Dole. The evening meal at the hotel was one of the best we'd experienced in the last few years. Truly enjoyable food and wine and great atmosphere and service in the restaurant. The hotel is some way from Dole centre, located in a wood with a truly wonderful, misty landscape. Our room very quiet at night, with very comfortable bed, good shower in the morning followed by standard, reasonable breakfast.

Hard to find fault with anything. This hotel is a great place to spend a night after a long journey from the south of France. If anything, a kettle and tea bags in the room would be good for when you first arrive after a long drive. The breakfast could do with more variety of bread in addition to the standard white baguette.

Everything was well organised. Great rooms, food, location and staff.

Whilst having the tea and coffee making available in the hallways is a great idea I would really liike to see some 'normal' English Breakfast tea on offer as well. Everything was Earl Grey or other floral varieties, the same goes for the breakfast room, no normal black tea available.

The friendly reception and service in the reception. Room with a balcony with a view across the countryside. Room with separate cabins for the toilet and shower, which has obvious advantages. Excellent food in the restauarant, even if somewhat overpriced.

House cat was able to wander around on the tables at breakfast time, sniffing at glasses prepared for lunchtime/ evening service, treading on cutlery and serviettes. Glad we didn't know this when eating dinner on evening before.

good rural location , quiet area ,good parking excellent restaurant , room nice size , toilet separate from modern bathroom ,had balcony ,good view, but weather not conducive .

in bad weather looks a bit drab and dark from the outside it is a chalet . never had answer to my 2,question via booking app. both questions turned out positive . in summer it will look great I think remember it was 2nd wk January

Delightful spot overlooking countryside in every direction. Very helpful staff, cosy room - the smallest in the property - but well equipped and plenty of hot water. Possible recently updated. Food in the dining room was superb - my wife is coeliac but the Chef cooked a wonderful fish dish for her with no trouble at all. super serving staff.

Location haven of peace on a hill with great panoramic views, with open terraces to sit with a drink and enjoy them. Very good restaurant and good, friendly service, love Jura cuisine and wines! Will be adding to our list to revisit for overnight or longer to explore many good walks in the Dole area.

Lovely hotel with a great atmosphere tucked away but still really convenient for the motorway. Dinner was fabulous and really busy with several groups of locals popping up the hillside from the town. Breakfast was lovely too. We were really well looked after and bedrooms were comfortable and clean and a good size. Will definitely go back.

Much nicer than the photos. Has been recently decorated. Lovely room & powerful shower. Great value. Very friendly staff. Quirky countryside location, but close to motorway.

Was very busy when we arrived, all tables were full of diners. Nowhere in the bar to sit, although staff did find us somewhere to sit.

Set in Beautiful grounds on a hill with great views. All the charm of a lodge with balcony overlooking the surrounding areas. Staff friendly, restaurant good, food good and don’t miss going in the church . Great Value for money !

Just wish we could have stayed longer :-)
