We liked the ambiance of the hotel. It was a typically French long established hotel in the centre of town, very close to restaurants etc. The bed was very comfortable, room very clean, ensuite, but a but cramped. It suited our needs. Breakfast was good. Gardens were just what was needed in the very hot weather. Lots of shade and a pool. We would like to have stayed longer. We felt it was very good value for money.

We were on the third floor and there was not a lift. We are able bodied and the stairs, beautiful stairs, weren't a problem but for someone who has a difficulty in climbing stairs, they would have found it a challenge.

Good location with lovely grounds and a pool. Plenty of parking. Rooms were comfortable with good beds but a bit dated. No air con but it wasn't a problem. Good breakfast at a reasonable price.

Overall the hotel is a bit dated. The female receptionist was very helpful but other staff not. When a very dated bathroom fan heater malfunctioned blowing hot air continuously into an already hot room, staff were not prepared to help in any way and only allowed the guests to move rooms when they absolutely insisted.

Our room was spacious and well laid out. The bathroom was adequate, with a very good shower.

Wish reception had told us when we checked in that there was a lift to the second floor!! It was not obvious (accessed through the dining room) and my husband had to carry our luggage up. We found out about the lift on day 3!!

Beautiful village setting, restaurant was excellent we chose the 35euro set meal the fillet of aubrac the best .swimming pool well kept and enjoyable after a busy day. Rooms were fitting to the buildings little quirky but thats fine with us .breakfast was well worth the money too.

Think perhaps as we booked should have recommended us to book a table for dinner as just got squeezed in.

The breakfast was generous with plenty of choice and good quality product. Value for money. The location is great, the hotel and the park though from a different period, offer peace and tranquility. Highly recommend

The restaurant service and food is of great standard , the plastic chairs and tables let it down but this is for improvement only.

The hotel was lovely with a great outdoor pool. Parking was great for the motorbike in an undercover large shed. We ate in the hotel restaurant as there wasn’t really anywhere else but the food was excellent and reasonably priced.

The hotel room was a bit on the small side but we were only there for 1 night but it did have all you need.

Nice old fashioned hotel near the centre of town. Easy to communicate with the reception who spoke good English. Nice size room,could probably do with being refurbished. Comfortable bed and hot shower. Good quality evening meal. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Close to town. Hi

Nothing to dislike.

Charming old school hotel. Occupies a complete block with the parc, pool, annex etc. Excellent restaurant. Space for bikes and motorcycles undet roof. Perfect location.

Replace the slow nespresso coffe machine with something better and more environment friendly

Small but comfortable room, beautiful gardens and pool, and friendly staff. Spectacular location in a lovely friendly little town, great for hiking. A very relaxing stay!

Breakfast a little overpriced and of relatively poor quality, but this is the only negative.

Location is great . The dinner was a pleasant surprise. Wonderful meal …. Very reasonable. First rate . Breakfast is serviceable . Basic ….

Somewhat dated but the price was right . Heat doesn’t come on until 10pm. So it was very cold up to that point . Not sure why but their response made it sound as if that was normal !
