Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice traditional alpine feel to the lounge and bar. Mature gardens with a feeling of being in the countryside but not far to walk into the town with its many facilities. Warm room and comfortable beds.

Our room was rather small and would have benefitted from an update, but it was comfortable and fair for the price

Key a bit fiddly

Hotel is in a nice place, quiet and surrounded by nature. The owner and staff are very friendly. White, clean sheets and towels. Wifi at the reception works well. Bed is old, but comfortable, as are pillows.

Hotel is old as is the room and all the facilities (only bathroom is renovated). No fridge or mini bar. Small TV, local channels. Bath tub had hair in the sink. Carpet needed vacuuming. No mosquito net. I think for the price of 64€ (that we paid) per room it could include a buffet breakfast.

The location was not bad, a hotel that in the past must have had its own charme, with relax areas, but today totally abandoned. Friendly and nice staff even in the corner bar.

The room was unwatchable, no attention to a minimum detail, yet it takes little, just put a decent bedspread some color and attention. Corridors to get there from horror movies full of disused wardrobes. Today the restyling of a room is within everyone's reach. It is a pity not to put in a bit of commitment that would certainly reward also in finances. In fact, since Gap is not a city of great charm, compared to others we have visited in the area, certainly many would choose a hotel set in the hills and surrounded by greenery. We did it with this criterion but we were very disappointed. And don't invoke the low price: with a few euros more you can find much better. Of all our French stages this year, which were 9, this is really the only disappointing one. Try to improve, you have the potential!

It had availability at short notice.

Worse of all was lack of information about check-in. We were not aware that reception closed at 10pm and when we called the first guy who answered basically told us they had closed and too bad. Not what you want to hear after a 7 hour flight and an 8 hour drive from Paris! Luckily a second person was reasonable and arranged for us to get the keys. Rooms were not very clean and sparsely decorated. The rooms are so small. The walls are thin and noise travels easily.

Nothing. Breakfast was 12 euro and they was nothing left.when asked they said yes its all gone. They still insisted we pay. We got a coffee and a piece of dry cake. Dreadful

On arrival we did not get rooms we booked. The rooms were dreadful and smelly. Nothing like the advertised pictures
