The locating is nice and very close to the city center of Gordes, and the property had a beautiful view. The room was comfortable and the surroundings peaceful.

We traveled for over 800km with a baby dog, when we arrived at the property we let the dog off leash for a few minutes in order for him to run and stretch from the 10 hours car ride. It was 20 PM, no one was outside and our dog never barked. Upon our arrival we immediately received a message from the staff to put the dog on leash. We understand that other clients might not like animals, but again we just wanted the dog to be able to walk free for a few minutes. The message that was sent by the staff could be more polite and kind towards the situation. The staff overall, was OK but not amazingly nice.

Superbly convenient location within 10 mins walk of the beautiful medieval village of Gordes. Fantastic views of Gordes from our room and from most parts of the hotel. Excellent breakfasts outside overlooking the village. Extremely helpful and efficient staff. We had a loveky, comfortable room with our own private patio. Swimming pool on the property and ample secure parking. Highly recommend it!

Gorgeous location, comfortable room and a lovely breakfast

The lady who checked us in was very abrupt and unhelpful. We arrived before the check-in time and she just kept repeating that check-in was at 4 pm, end of story. When we asked if they could store our bags until then, she put them in the foyer next to the check-in desk, and said they’d be fine. We put them back in the car as we felt they’d be safer there. Not a very warm welcome, but the staff on the reception desk later in the evening and in the morning were super nice and helpful.

The view over the city of Gordes was spectacular. The staff was very caring and friendly and the property itself was very relaxing and pittoreske.I felt at home and able to feel at ease and on vacation.

I thought the place had a restaurant for dinner as well. That was not the case, however the town is close by and we had a great dinner there!

The location to all of the sites we visited during the day to include Gordes. The room was very comfortable and cozy. The view of Gordes at night with all the Christmas lights was beautiful.

One room was next to the road so we heard several loud cars (Porsches) passing late at night.

beautiful hotel, short walk to town, perfect for watching the towns colours change at sunset. good breakfast, perfect hosts. good choice of wine and a good beer for time out on the terrasse. lovely room, bed and bathroom had everything necessary for a good night or two or more.

One of the very best boutique hotels that we have ever stayed! The view from the room is spectacular and the grounds are breathtaking. Money for money, there is NO better. Also, eat at L'Outsider restaurant! One of the top 3 that we have EVER eaten (coming from a couple that has traveled to 34 different counties)!

Alexander and Christoph were amazing! The only thing I might ask to improve is breakfast. Omelettes and more variety baked goods would be fantastic but this hotel is amazing ! I’ve stayed there before and will definitely go again.

Breakfast options

It would be nice for us non-smokers if the smokers had their own separate area in the patio. Smoke for non-smokers really detracts from the experience of that beautiful space. I realize 'smoking zones' are not the norm in France.

The place is in a great spot with views and only a 5 minute walk to the village . Christof and jeremy really looked after us /
