Wonderful location overlooking the Rhone. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and hot dishes on request. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine on the enclosed terrace with some nibbles. We unloaded our luggage at the door, and were then directed to private parking, a few minutes drive away and a short walk back along the river.

Some confusion about the room. I booked with a balcony, but we were given a room without and was told it was bigger and would be more suitable as we had our dog with us. There's no lift, so hauling luggage up two flights of stairs may not be for everyone.

We loved our stay. The hotel is clean and comfortable without being overdone or fancy. The location, in the middle of Tain L’Hermitage and right on the Rhône river, was great - we had a lovely view of the river and the opposite hills from our room. The breakfast was very nice.

The parking was a bit difficult- in an old garage a short distance away that was a little awkward to maneuver. We didn’t use the car much so it wasn’t a big problem.

This is a lovely hotel overlooking the pedestrian bridge and the Rhone. In the middle of a small town, we used it as a stop over on the way home. Friendly English speaking reception, lovely room and shower with a view ( worth having). Close to bars and a good restaurant.next door. Plenty of street parking off season, hotel car park designed for small French cars!!! Lovely breakfast. Dog friendly.

Very little not to like. Slightly limited lounge space in feb but lovely conservatory in summer I suspect! No lift, so good cardio!

Exceptional location overlooking the river. The hotel was renovated in January and it is lovely. The shower is very good, not complicated as in some hotels. Breakfast was also exceptional with a great choice, including the possibility of freshly cooked - unbeatable value. Friendly and helpful staff too. Although the parking (reservation necessary) isn't on site it is only a few minutes walk away - access might be challenging for very large cars! We'll definitely return and stay longer.

Although it didn't bother us, there is no lift; Access to the rooms is by a beautiful staircase.

The property was very modern and clean. Our room on the first floor was river facing with great views. The bed was very comfortable and the room very spacious. The bathroom was immaculate with a very powerful shower.

The weather was very wet during our stay and there were no coat hooks to hang our wet coats on. The wardrobe hanging space was very limited. There was no lift! Normally this isn’t a problem as I’m happy to climb stairs. However I had a broken leg……fortunately our room was only on the first floor.

The hotel was so conveniently located to both shops and restaurants on the Tain l'Hermitage side as well as across the river on the Tournon side. Loved it that the pedestrian bridge was just outside the hotel. The rooms were clean and bright too. Our room had a small balcony with the river view, and it was such a beautiful view - both in the day as well as at night.

Rooms were a bit small. We had booked 3 rooms, for our group of 4, and each room was really quite small - it was ok for 1 person, but bit tight for 2 persons when moving about the room or using the bathroom.

Super nice little hotel, perfect location right on the river! Price /quality is super. Breakfast was super nice especially on the terras! Beds we comfortable. I was travelling by bike through France and the staff had an excellent place to put my bike. Very friendly. Really am planning to go back with my family. Because I came by bike I have no idea were the quest can park their cars. But that seems a challenge.

There was some repairs being done on the water heater so it took a real long time for the water to get hot and it wasn't really hot hot, but it was OK. It is probably all fixed by now!

This lovely hotel is in a central position for both Tain l'Hermitage and Tournon-sur-Rhône. We had a lovely, bright room with a great view of the River Rhône and Tournon opposite. It was a reasonable size with a contemporary feel and look together with a good shower room. Breakfast was good too, with some tables available on the enclosed terrace overlooking the river. The staff were friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay here again.

We liked everything!

We had a lovely two-night stay at Hotel Les Deux Coteaux with our two teenagers. On arrival we were greeted with warmth and humor by the owner, Pascal, who was happy to mix English and French as he oriented us. Like Pascal, the hotel had great personality—a world of difference from the chains we're so often stuck in. Our room and bathroom were compact but comfortable, clean and thoughtfully furnished. The breakfast was well worth the additional 12 EUR per person, with delicious homemade cakes, eggs made to order, fresh breads and pastries, local cheese, and café au lait on tap. The location is perfect for exploring either Tain L'Hermitage or Tournon sur Rhone, just across the footbridge.

The tight spaces in the bathroom may be an issue for larger individuals, but they weren't for us.

This is a great place to stay in Tain l'Hermitage. Excellent location with very friendly staff. Some of the rooms offer a view of the Rhone River just in front of the hotel. The breakfast room overlooks the Rhone as well. Room was very clean and bed quite comfortable. We would definitely return.

Parking in the vicinity is a bit complicated. Most likely you will have to park a bit further away from the hotel. But it shouldn't be a problem as it's easy to reach the hotel by foot. There's no elevator in the hotel, and that could present a problem for people with mobility issues.
