Room exceeded expectations and really liked the in room facilities. Staff were friendly ( although we only ever met one !! ) but he was attentive / informative and helpful. Hotel is central to town and everything is walkable . The style and cleanliness of the Hotel is fantastic .. Very Chic !!

There are very limited eating ( apart from breakfast ) facilities at the hotel and even getting a beer proved difficult . But knowing those are restricting factors , you make decisions to find those locally and there are an abundance of bars / restaurant's in the town to meet everyone's pocket .

This really charming hotel is in an excellent location within the small walled town of Montreuil-sur-Mer. There is plentiful free street parking nearby. The central courtyard is beautifully planted and a lovely place to relax in the evening. The staff were hugely welcoming and courteous, They gave my elderly father a ground floor room which he much appreciated while my husband and I had one on the first floor, with the bathroom up a second flight of stairs within the room. The decoration was elegant and the pillows and beds very comfortable. The hotel offers a plentiful and delicious breakfast with an additional option for cheese and meat if you like. We found the breads, pastries, fruit, yoghurt and boiled eggs more than enough! Although there is no restaurant in the evening, there is a wide choice of places to eat in the town nearby. We heartily enjoyed our short break. Although only a short drive from the Eurotunnel at Calais, it really felt that we had entered a different land. Much gratitude to our hosts.

If there was ever a hotel I wanted to move into and live forever, this is it. It’s as good or better than 5 Star hotels I’ve paid more than 3 times as much to stay in. Not been open very long otherwise I think it would be a lot more expensive…go while you can!

Our room was hot but we booked last minute so they hadn’t had time to air it to cool it down. That said, there was a Dyson fan in the room, how nice is that?! And with the window open it was fine.

What a great find - this hotel seems like it has recently had a complete renovation - its perfect, modern but still manages to feel traditional and in keeping with the beautiful town it sits within - LOVED THIS PLACE! Room was BIG with a private outside terrace - completly silent on a Friday night in the middle of peak period! Breakfast was GREAT and a really reasonable add on! Overall - outstanding value for money - SO LOVELY will be back

Liked - the location, the beautiful and super courtyard, our own terrace in the sun, the so friendly, helpful and personal service, getting our breakfast in our own dining room when a group had comandeered the main breakfast room.

Our room had only one chair and no drawers.

We didn't have the breakfast. Ambiance was really good and the Hotel presented itself superbly, would definitely recommend and we will return should we need to stay in the area again. Staff very attentive.

The Mattress was a little on the firm side, which didn't suit us but for one night it isn't something that can be corrected and it is always a contentious subject and not direct criticism.

The location is very central and the breakfasts were good. The staff were friendly and recommended a really atmospheric brasserie for the evening meal

We had no problem finding on street parking near to the hotel, but this might be more difficult during busier holiday periods

Character, nicely and tastefully decorated and furnished. Manager was exceptionally friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Well situated in the town and easy proximate free parking.

Very good breakfast ( not self-service). Beautiful building with elegant decor. Our room, the Cosy, was surprisingly large with magnificent beams. The bathroom was equally spacious with a great shower.

It was difficult to park, but perhaps this was due to our stay coinciding with the annual ‘Son et Lumière’ show.
