The Hotel de la Chapelle is an authentic auberge. It may not be perfect (although very close), but it is oozing with character. It was exactly what I was hoping for. Location is quiet, in a sleepy village in the Chevreuse forest. The hosts, the facilities, the breakfast, all were great.

Charming exterior, nice sized attractive rooms, comfy bed, large bathroom, elevator, fluffy towels, even wash cloths! Great toiletries- even a little shoe polisher. The lication is great for exploring the whole area. The owner Enzo, is kind and helpful. I loved my 3 day stay there!!

The owner who is at the reception is quite friendly and nice, the hotel is cozy and their garden is very nice!
There is absolutely no connection in any network provider as we were several couples staying, so when you come for a nearby wedding ( like us) and need to communicate with people for arrangements, transportation etc- is simply impossible. Rooms are too small and there is simply no place for anything. I did not even have a bed table as there was a room door right next to the bed. I really think that hotel is terribly overpriced for what it is.
