Beautiful location across the canal from the lovely Château. Easy free parking. Friendly and helpful staff on reception (particularly Frankie). Nice bar with yummy free snacks, with opportunity to sit outside. Loved the rather traditional restaurant with good value daily menu as well as a la carte, plus good value wine list. Short walk into Josselin town, which is small but charming. The hotel is in a good location for a pre-ferry stay if you are travelling from north Brittany.

The hotel served it's purpose for location ect, (7-8) However i gave it a 10, purely based on the member of staff on the front desk, she was exceptional, went above and beyond when i became poorly late at night, and i cannot thank her enough. She is an absolute credit to the hotel. (Monday 29th april, afternoon/evening) She was rushed off her feet, yet remained so calm and polite, when we witnessed impatient people being rude. Literally cannot credit her enough!

Lack of attention to detail, somebody to just over see the rooms when they have been done. However the wires sticking out the wall which we are unsure if they were live or not, proves a different matter. The bathroom is definitely not ideal for a bigger person and the shower head does not attach to the wall.

The hotel is very easy to locate, free parking, excellent menu /both plat de jour and a la carte. Breakfast is very good indeed. Situated in a beautiful location and logistically ideal for visiting other parts of Britany. Pricing was exceptionally fair and the staff went out of their way to oblige. Well worth considering as a short or long stay

To be truthful very little other than lumpy pillows ! but even so we both slept really well, very quiet surroundings, little to no traffic noise and windows double glazed.

Lovely spot on the river opposite the Château with a stunning walk along the towpath. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was exceptional. But the absolute best bit, the garage parking for the motorbikes.

Hotel is a little tired and our room could have been a bit cleaner, having said that, I would definitely stay here again as the positives more than made up for the negatives.

What Can I Say!! An absolutely wonderful surprise driving through the village and coming across this wonderful view of the canal, the chateau,and over the bridge the hotel!! And what a hotel it was!! The concierge was an absolute dynamo, booking us in, giving us the car park code, showing us how to work the quaint lift and booking us in for dinner. We found our room, and what a room it was! Everything perfect, except we were at the back of the hotel and didn't have a view of the chateau, a small price to pay for such a good room. We had a quick walk round the village we had a drink at the bar then went in the restaurant, the staff in there were as good as the concierge. We ordered the dish of the day and it was served in super quick time and was an excellent meal. Then a quick drink in the bar and chat with other guests . After a good nights sleep went down for an excellent breakfast with more chatting. We then paid our bill which was extremely reasonable and off we went. WE'LL BE BACK!!!!!

Amazing hotel in an absolutely stunning location. Free car park across the road and. 5/10 walk into the centre along the river. Friendly staff nice little bar downstairs for drinks. We didn’t eat at the hotel so I can’t comment on that. Josselin is a stunning little town. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. Comfortable bed and a view to die for we booked the castle view. The hotel has a lift.

Stefan was a perfect host and there was nothing that he or any of the staff could have done more to make my stay any better. My room was clean and comfortable and had everything that l might have needed. The ensuite wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate and the shower was perfect. As a touring motorcyclist we often worry about the security of our bikes but this place had a lockable garage which could easily cater for maybe 10 machines.

Perfect location opposite the chateau and a short walk (uphill) to the town centre. Our room had a double and a single so plenty of room for bags, clothes etc. Very comfy bed. Decent shower and toiletries. Always good to have face tissues in the room and bottles of water. Parking is across the road and is secure and free.

The hotel is ideal for a short stay in Josselin. It is a little tired and could do with some redecoration and some attention to the bar but we didn't spend much time there so are not too bothered about these things.

when I was presented with the Invoice on check out , we had been charged an extra 80 euros, for food and beverages we hadn’t had, luckily I checked the Invoice and it was quickly rectified.

We had a fantastic stay there! If you are looking for an authentic French castle experience, this place is for you. The view from our bedroom was absolutely stunning. Our host was fantastic! We had dinner at the hotel the night of, and it was absolutely scrumptious. It surpassed all of our expectations.

The renovations that have been done in our room were not fully well completed. Sometimes, a slight mold smell was present. It really did not bother us, considering what a great state we had. What did bother us though? Was the automatic censored bathroom light that triggers on when you walk in and is extremely bright at night.
