A friendly family run hotel with lovely bedrooms in a wonderful location very close to the stunning Lac Le Bourget with the Marina promenade two minute’s walk away. The owner and her family are simply delightful - they could not have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful. There is a road outside which can be noisy but the owners have invested in triple glazed windows in the bedrooms. The combination of this and the traditional French shutters meant that I could barely hear the traffic at all from my room during the night.

The staff were delightful. The location near the lake good, although close to a busy road, the shutters/windows cut out most of the noise. 8 mins drive to Chambery Airport. The breakfast was simple but nice, with fresh bread fruit and croissants.

Unfortunately the restaurant was not open for dinner, however there were a few restaurants a short walk from the hotel.

Very friendly personnel. Nice room with a view on the lake. The breakfast is (typically) French. The homemade confiture is a real treatment with their delicious flsvours. Maybe there would be a possibility to add some typical French cheese from the region. I would accept a bit higher price of the breakfast.

The staff is amazing. Rossana was very attentive and helpful. The room was comfortable and it was fresh despite not having air-con. The breakfast was amazing!! And the location of the hotel is very convenient as it's very close to the lake, restaurants, and there are many activities to do in the area.

We were lucky to be able to add an extra night at short notice. The proprietor is lovely and couldn't be more welcoming and eager to make our stay a pleasant one. The breakfast was very good.

A fridge and a kettle would have been good. Both are fortunately a rarity in France.

Excellent location in a small village. Roxane gave me a really warm greeting, and despite my late arrival, she waited for me. With such kindness, Catharine prepared me a delicious breakfast.

The Savoy Hotel is a lovely old fashioned hotel close to Lac du Bourget. it’s well maintained, run very efficiently and managed by a delightful family. breakfast was very good too.

It was in a great location close to the lake and restaurants. The family who run it Roxanne and her mother are very friendly and helpful.

The restaurant has closed down and yet still has an active website. I booked this hotel first and then tried to get a booking in the restaurant before finding out it was closed. Clients should be aware of this.

Receptionist, Roxane, is really nice and helpful. Great service! Rooms are very quiet, and big. Location is perfect, very closed to the lake.

A very pleasant and well located hotel. Warm reception and considerate approach to your needs. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. This is our second stay and would highly recommend the hotel.
