During our stay, the staff went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions we had. This is our second stay at The People. We like the location- close to the ski lifts, close to town, close to the bus stop. We like the simple set up and that there is a bar and restaurant on the premises. It is still pretty expensive during ski season, but better value for money than some other places in Les Deux Alpes.

The locker room can be a bit of a squeeze if it is busy, but it could be worse!

The hotel seems brand new, and the bar downstairs is very nice. The suite was very simple but quite comfy and clean. Absolutely not the mouldy stinky outdated yet overpriced place one can expect in the French Alps.

Location, depending on the taste. The surroundings are very quiet and it’s quite a walk to the area where most of the nicer restaurants and bars are located. Not ideal but also not a dealbreaker.

very nice clean room, with a large balcony, very friendly staff, location is good (bus stop, ski rent, shops to buy cheese and ham, fresh bread etc is very close) a nice big chill room, where you can cook and eat in comfort , children can play I totally recommend

Dorm might be a cramped space, but often had the place to myself. Turned out to be a very good stay. It might be the best deal in any alpine village in the environs. Modern, and friendly, nice views and deck when sun is out. Excellent buffet breakfast, but expensive. Quite expensive for a dorm room, but will be high quality.

Look out for the two breakfast options. If buffet is included it is 14€ extra...

Room and bathroom a little bit small

Great location, within walking distance or a free shuttle bus if you don't want to walk in your ski boots. Bus stops are very close by. This runs about every 20 minutes. The staff were great. Always happy to help or answer questions speaking in English too. Breakfast was great! Continental choice (meats, cheese, yogurt, cerials, bread, croissants, fruit along with juices and hot drinks). Evening meal choice was really good too. Three courses on half board, they will let you know what choices you have on half board, but are willing to change it if you want something that isn't on the half board list. The warm goats cheese salad was very nice or the duck and trout! You can purchase your ski lift passes at the hotel too. There is a ski storage which had plenty of room for the 4 of us to store all of our ski kits in. Bedrooms were comfortable. We had a private room. Plenty of supermarkets within walking distance if you fancy a snack. Our boys enjoyed a nightly game of table football or darts in the bar area. A great way to wind down after a day on the slopes. The room hadn’t been cleaned, something that we discovered after they had given us our key cards . But they did give us complimentary drinks whilst they cleaned . so they rectified the situation very swiftly.

Despite being rated as hostel, this place can match any hotel. Rooms was good sized and with nice mountain view. There was daily room service to touch up the room. our package included the breakfast and dinner and the dinner was proper 3 course dinner. staff were all friendly.
