Lovely, quirky B&B right in the centre of Loches. Fantastic friendly hosts and a really cute terrace to enjoy drinks and look out over the city. Good sized and comfortable room and bathroom with views towards the chateau - accessed up a memorable stone staircase. Limited car parking directly across the street - we got a convenient space. Excellent instructions on how to reach the property by car - driving through the old town. Great recommendations for restaurants bookings ahead of time - otherwise we might have struggled. Highly recommended for a stay in this beautiful town.

Overall we were really happy although we couldn't get wifi working at all and as a minor detail, although cold water was provided on arrival - which was great - there is no fridge in the room.

A lovely cosy atmosphere to the whole place. We arrived on a wet, cold Spring day so the heating was very welcome as was the hot water, so we could have an early evening bath to warm up. The list of nearby restaurants was very helpful as we were able to book ahead and walk to the restaurant.

The place was hard to find, but this was partly due to roadworks, which, of course, Google maps hadn't accounted for! There is limited public parking a few hundred yards from the hotel.

The two ladies running the hotel were super friendly, warm, welcoming and truly supportive. The hotel only has 3 nicely arranged rooms – it felt more like visiting friends than staying at a hotel ;) The location is just perfect for those who want to visit the "royal city" as it is located right at the wall to the old town. Many nice restaurants and cafes nearby. The beautifully arranged terrace with all the plants and flowers and the view over the old city was simply stunning. My kids loved to hang out on the terrace and play with the supercute cats living there :)

Just amazing! I am very happy with my stay. The place is even more beautiful than in the photos. I received a very warm welcome upon arrival as the staff was really friendly and kind. Especially the owner really goes out of her way to be helpful and ensure the comfort of her clients. I felt well taken care of. They have four gorgeous calm cats that hang out on the ground floor but they are not allowed on the floor were the guestrooms are, if that's a consern. The hotel felt luxurious but the rooms are at a very reasonable price in my opinion. The bathroom was also very spacious and seemed newly renovated. The rooms are beautifully and tastefully decorated and of course perfectly clean. Not only that but to me the whole place also smelled very nice. I don't know if it was the wooden beams or some perfume. I did see some dried lavender in my room. The bed was comfortable. A big breakfast with many options and the owner asked me if there was anything else I would like to have. The hotel is located 5 minutes from the train station and right next to the cité royale. I extended my stay the last minute as I realized I was too tired to go to yet another city and again - the owner went beyond to ensure my comfort even if someone else had already booked the room I was staying in. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Loire region. I would be happy to stay there again some day. Thank you for this great experience:)

We couldn't have been made more welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Breakfast was plentiful and super quality, catering for all our needs. An added bonus was the bar and terrace area which was so welcome at the end of a long day.. Olivier was also very helpful with providing a parking area for our motorbikes.. Definitely a place to return to.

This is an amazing location and property including tranquil garden, fun bar, and quaint casual cafe. Extremely wonderful welcoming hosts who went above and beyond and treated us like old friends. Lovingly decorated room with attention to details to promote our comfort. Great view of the castle outside our room window, and views of the town from the garden. Amazing breakfast buffet served, with so many options. Extra bonus if you are a musician - you may end up doing some impromptu performance with your host!

Everything, as are visits before we were looked after from the minute we arrived till the moment we left. Chako is an absolute treasure and her enthusiasm for looking after her guest's is fabulous. Breakfast is a feast which was far more than we could eat and the best coffee I had all the time we were away.

From the first arrival, we felt welcome and at home at The Little Maison. Attention to detail was evident everywhere. Chako was the most helpful host when needed but never intrusive. Overall we couldn't help but feel the warmth extended to us. Obviously the views from bedroom and patio and relaxing feeling were great but the cats just topped it off!!

Beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated property retaining original features. The room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. We parked our motorcycle across the road from the property in a carpark which was fine. A choice of very good restaurants nearby. Breakfast was continental which was good. Host was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Charming house, full of character, in an amazing location. A generous sized bedroom, comfortable bed and well equipped shower room. And the view towards the chateau was far better than anticipated. Great location near to the Cité Royale as well as shops, restaurants etc. Plenty of free car parking nearby. It was a pleasure to meet Chako who was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was served in a lovely setting and consisted of a very varied buffet choice.
