We took the table d'hote option both nights and dinner was delicious. All freshly homecooked and tasty. The wine was reasonably priced. We had the dining room to ourselves so it felt very special. Breakfast was also delicious, homemade jams, yoghurt and local honey served with a selection of croissants, bread, cake and waffles over the 2 mornings. The location was good. The area is beautiful with some lovely walks around the Montagne Noir. Emilie and Douglas and family were very welcoming and friendly. We will stay there again and would definitely recommend.

If I could, I’d rate it 100/10 :) lovely old house in the small village with a welcoming and friendly host family. Good breakfasts with homemade yoghurt, jams, pastries. Good and various dinners are made with local products. Everything was so carefully thought out in the room, from blackout curtains and windows with mosquito nets to great quality towels and bed linen. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

The most comfy beds ever! Such a unique place and a true little gem - Emile welcomed us and we were lucky enough to be offered a delicious set menu that even (table d’hote) - trying to find a reason now to return! Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a slightly off the beaten track unique hotel experience.

Everything was wonderful

The rooms are huge and tastefully decorated- modern but incorporating the history of the building- high-end finishes. Beds are extremely comfortable and the grounds are lovely. Food was delicious- home made and local produce. We opted for an evening meal which was just lovely- highly recommend. We also got to enjoy music concert at the town hall and wine tasting with the local wine-makers. Just so much to offer in what seems to be a quiet village. We will definitely return next year.

A very friendly family-run chambre d'hote. The house itself is beautiful, with great attention to detail. We had 2 delicious table d'hote meals during our 4 night stay.

No faults at all with le domaine de Villespy. We found driving to get evening meals on the sun/mon evening more difficult than we expected- it's quite a rural area, Carcassonne was a good option for finding places that were open..

The room was a great size for a family, comfortable beds, air con. Dinner was also very tasty and good value for money with the wine included and we really appreciated the changes in the menu for the kids. Breakfast the next day was very generous with lots of choice including local honey and home made jam and yoghurt.

Lovely old house carefully renovated to maintain the charm and quirks of an old building. The owners and their family were very friendly and kind and assisted in all my requests...they even found a wheel I left behind by accident and contacted me. Breakfast was the best I've had on my journey and the dinners restful, delicious and local produce. Wine excellent.

Exquisite stay at a beautiful soulful location and the nicest people ! Highly Recommend Each day you get spoiled with Emilie's baking additional to breakfast . If you are lucky you get to eat breakfast or diner on the terrace with the breathtaking view. Although you wouldn't expect when standing in front of the building. There is a private park waiting on your arrival once you enter! Emilie and Doug are the loveliest, intelligent people whom started this out of love for hospitality. And you notice this in every detail. The rooms are clean and spacious and you have everything you need! Definitely also try the table d'hôtes to taste their yummy cooking. Do ask for the local wine, we LOVED it ! From Villespy you are only a short drive to Carcasonne/Narbonne, but you get the chance to return to a relaxing environment to sleep. There are wine farmers around and you can just enjoy the French views while driving trough the small towns. A perfect location to just enjoy the area or as a fallout for daily trips. Or just enjoy a glass of wine at the pool. Hope to return one day!

Absolutely charming. Enchanting owners that have restored a beautiful property. We had a lovely breakfast on the terrace with home made yoghurt and home made jams. The bedrooms are big with very comfortable beds and lovely linen.

Tucked in a small village, this beautiful Domaine from 1830 will showcase its marvel once you enter it. Emilie and Doug, your French and English speaking hosts, will welcome you cordially as members of their family. They are super friendly, great hosts and can cook mouth-watering dinners with a very local/regional flavour if you wish. Absolutely delicious! The rooms are nicely decorated, super tidy, charming and very spacious! The breakfast is lovely and can be taken at the terrace overlooking the Domaine and there are beautiful small villages to explore nearby. You can't possibly ask for more. Highly recommended!
