The Restaurant was superb, Fine dining. The Chateau was marvellous with old charm feel. The room service could improve a little with more options

We were staying for a week there and we tried to book a spa session however we were told it was booked out for the month. There should be some spaces available to guests staying at the time.

Our room was upgraded. Fantastic view. Room not massive but 'aristocratic' with a terrific view from the window. There is a fridge, security safe and Aircon. Fantastic restaurant (but pricy). Typical continental breakfast, not bad but typically poor coffee.

The Breakfast coffee was poor. The cost of breakfast is too high for what it is. Next time I might explore the nearby village for breakfast. You probably need your own transport to visit the village. The bathroom window had no guard when open. Its a big window!. If i had children I would be weary.

Amazing sense of space, especially large window onto open grounds from room 21. Could sit watching out the window forever. The whole chateau was elegant and tranquil. All very restful. As well a a good position for exploring the area.

It felt in need of a program of renovation in the bathrooms, by the pool etc to bring it up to modern five star standards. The suite we were offered in the pavilion was claustrophobic. The balcony was too close to large trees. The duluxe room we had in the main chateau was far better. The breakfast was disappointing - coffee from a machine, ok food offering, but nothing special. For a longer stay, the menu in the restaurant, although excellent, was limited. Some bar food for lunch rather than the same dinner menu would help.

Charming staff, very good food and lovely setting. The chateau is a fascinating building - do have a look at the amazing ceiling in the central first floor salon.

We had a magnificently sized room with a massive fireplace. This had been used to form the bathroom and separate loo. While both were perfectly clean and with excellent quality towels, they were showing their age and the lack of bathroom space - roughly 40 cm between bath and wall - made for a tight squeeze when exiting bath and shower.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. A fantastic restaurant which is worth the visit just on its own. However, it is the staff and their ability to make you feel so welcome from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave, their seamless service and their smiles which really made this a great stay. Plus, importantly for us, our dog was made to feel as welcome as we were.

A personal observation -The decor needs a little refresh in places but didn’t detract from a wonderful stay.

What a magical experience for my wife and I. Coming from the US, we don't have experiences like this, especially at Château D'artigny's price point. If you want to give your wife a royal experience without completely destroying your wallet, this is it. Dining experience was 5 stars! The village of Montbazon is a 30 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride. If you're not fluent in French, the staff is quite helpful for English speakers. Over the top friendly staff. Great communication before our visit. They helped arrange our taxi to the Tours train station.

Can't think of a single thing.

This place is wonderful and service and staff exellent. I spent my birthday there and had a magical stay. Even if the interior of the hotel is old that is part of the charm, the hotel is beautiful both inside and the surrounding. Everything was very clean and the food in the restaurant was very good. The room was spacious and with a beautiful view. My best birthday so far. Hope I can come back there soon.

The restaurant at the Chateau was first class, every meal we had there was beautifly presented and very tasty. The staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. The decor in the restaurant and bar was beautiful with views over the big verandah and forest.

The beds were extremely comfortable but the rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade as they are a bit tired looking.

It was gorgeous property and very fun to stay in a Chateau. It is about 30 min from the city of Tours and 30 to 45 min from other famous Chateaus. I really enjoyed the room. You are about 5 min from a small village that has a bakery, pharmacy etc. The staff was wonderful

The breakfast is very expensive so I didn't have. I wish they had an a la carte option inside of all or nothing. The restaurant was very good but they need more vegetarian options. You cannot walk to go get a meal anywhere so you're stuck there if you don't want to drive.

loved it, beautiful.

expected a luxurious bathroom but shower was handheld in the tub. even smaller more economical hotels had better showers which included a handheld shower not used it exclusively!? receptionist was a trainee I think. her English poor, she had to rely on the bellboy to translate. the receptionist the next morning was excellent however. small things because I really enjoyed my stay here.
