Overnight stop on the way home from Provence Very friendly host couple who made us welcome despite our arriving earlier than arranged.. This is a beautifully restored 18th century townhouse, it's not a plush hotel but a comfortable bed and breakfast in the old town in Moulins. A delicious breakfast of coffee and fresh bread and croissants with honey and jam was taken with the other guests at a big dining table- had the weather been warmer it would have been in the pretty rear garden. It is important to realise that this is an ancient house so there is no lift and the floor can be uneven and there are some low beams in the 2nd floor rooms but this is part of its charm. We would love to go back. There is no dedicated parking but our host was most helpful in advising us where to leave the car overnight.

It is a lovely 18th century house simply and elegantly furnished, not too far from the town centre. The bed was comfortable, the en suite clean, spacious and equipped with lovely fleecy towels and our helpful hosts gave us a lovely breakfast in their beautiful walled garden in the morning. We appreciated being able to make peppermint tea in our room when we woke up.

We were in an attic room, which was charming, but there were a lot of stairs to get there and we are old. But as long as we can climb stairs, we’d be happy to go back there.

Very beautiful and old house. The service was also amazing, very kind owners. Beautiful interior of the room, everything looks very antique. Super clean. A big shower with a good water pressure even under the roof. Perfect for staying for a night or two, when crossing through country. The price was also okay for that beautiful room, close to the city centre and breakfast

Room is very good, Breakfast excellent, and nice to sit outdoors on a warm morning. Brest was getting our / my suitcase taken up the steps to the room. Found parking less than 100 meters away. walking to many good restaurants in the old town.

Only thing missing was a TV, didn't mind that it wasn't in the bedroom in along would have perfect to Tour Du France .

The location was very central to the town, and the breakfast was adequate, and normal for French breakfasts.

As the property was a terraced house, there was restricted parking facilities, but the house had been modernised and made as comfortable as possible.

You get exactly what you booked: A beautiful room in a house from the end of the 18th century with a dangerously comfortable bed that wants to prevent you from exploring the quaint little town of Moulins. The floor boards are adequately creaky and the exposed brick is a wonderful touch. The breakfast consists of coffee, tea and orange juice as well as bread and croissant that an be paired with either jam, honey or chocolate spread. I would totally recommend this place to friends and family!

We just wish we could have stayed longer!

We loved this old town house. Characterful, so perhaps not ideal if you like every modern amenity, but great for an overnight stay on the way to Italy from the UK. Well located for a walk around the city in the evening. Electric car charger just down the road.

A fabulous house within walking distance to the centre of Moulins. Our room overlooked the garden and was very spacious. The bed was comfortable with good quality linen, a strong hot shower and fluffy towels. Our host was very helpful with information on where to eat and the breakfast was delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It was perfect
