The property is spacious, with a huge garden and lots of outdoor activities such as swimming pool, jacuzzi, gaming room, table tennis, an outside barbecue and summer kitchen. There are typical Provençal tools that are really cool. The view is gorgeous but what made our stay special was the host. Both Virginie and William are amazing. We haven’t met such great cook/chef as Virginie. All meals prepared for us were like in Michelin star restaurant ! William is the soul of the conversation and a great guide for tours around. The property is in a crucial location, typical Provençal village, on the border between Provence and Cote D’Azur. You can reach the beautiful Cassis in 30 minutes or you can climb the mountains to visit the grotto of Maria Magdalena. We have spent a week at the property and had different experiences every day in this week.

Everything was really great. The location right in front of the Sainte Baume was amazing. The pool and Jacuzzi are amazing, in perfect condition and really easy to use. We had the suite and the decoration was typical of the region (not the boring ones from soulless hotels), the bathroom was spacious with a huge shower and of course everything was perfectly clean. We had more than enough towels to use for the bathroom and also the pool (even with bathrobes). The hosts are the best part of the stay. Friendly, ready to help at any time. We booked the meal on top and didn't regret it one second. Virginie is a great cook and we had a great time chatting with her and her husband.

The owners war very helpful all the time. They asked what we want to do and they arrange for us many trips so we just enjoyed and have a lot of fun. The breakfast was very nice and since we realize we can book dinner, we were very surprised since the dinner was excellent and definitely worth. The swimming pool was cleaned every day and we just relax since the place is extremely quiet and no noise at all. The center as well as the market are just 5 minutes from the villa. That is the reason we booked two amazing weeks there and next time we probably stay even longer.

Everything was great. We stayed for 6 nights with our one year old and had a fantastic time. William picked us up from the airport and helped us rent a car locally. They gave us many tips where to visit. Virginie took us to Marseille and showed us around. The dinner was great everytime! It was like staying at a home away from home. The facility with Pool & Garden are great too! Nice town center and good shopping close by too.

Nothing we had a great time!

We loved everything about the Villa Pomponette and our hosts William and Virginie. The villa is in a lovely location and the facilities are excellent. Our hosts were so very kind and helpful and the food and wine were excellent. We had a wonderful holiday. The weather was fantastic as well! William also transferred us to and from Marseille airport at no cost to us and helped us with car hire. Virginie took us on visits to Aix and Marseille.

The hosts Vivienne and William are very kind. Being a solo traveller they went out of their way to help me. Vivienne also cooked an amazing meal. They took me to locations and picked me up which helped me so much.

Amazing place to stay in the beautiful Provence, FR. we are family of 4 including 2 young children and we have a great time here. Owners are the warmest people that I’ve met met during my trip. they provided everything including toys for kids and we felt like home during our stay. French dinner offered by the owner was FANTASTIC. The best dining experience of the trip. We can’t wait to be back.

The family were super friendly, the pool fabulous, the hot tub great, we will be back. The food was exceptional.

You do need to share the accommodation with other people, which you accept of course with this type of accommodation. Depending on how friendly they are, this can effect a little your stay. But again, you accept this when booking and it is completely out of the control of the owners.

Very nice modern room in a location close to magnificent drives. Excellent value. Breakfast was exceptional for the price. As good as a five star hotel. Host was very friendly and helpful.

Sorry we only stayed one night! Should have booked a longer stay.
