The hotel is well located a few minutes walk from both the port/waterfront and the old town which is up a bit of a hill, but still relatively easy to get to by foot for able bodied persons. The views from the rooms (which ALL rooms benefit from) is superb, across what appeared to be a conservation area to the sea beyond, and the grounds of the hotel are nice and green and clearly well looked after. The pool and surrounds are calm and ample for relaxing. Several excellent beaches are relatively nearby but a little drive to get to (20-40 mins) - we hired a car which proved very useful. The staff were excellent, looking after us, being attentive and very helpful whenever we asked for further information. They were personable and friendly and really made our stay feel like a warm welcome. The room and facilities are great (we were in a Jnr Suite), well provisioned and kept very clean, and there are some really comfortable and personal touches with decor, art/ornaments, and the layout of the main ground floor lounge areas making it feel quite homely. All this helped us to relax nicely, along with the buffet style breakfasts which we enjoyed daily at a fairly leisurely time so we didn't feel rushed through.

There was little to criticize, particularly with staff being so helpful. One thing which might be useful to provide to visitors is a hard copy information folder in each of the rooms, perhaps covering any additional services provided by the hotel, copy of menus etc..., and potentially additional info about the area or other things to see and do in this area of Corsica. We did, however, get such info enthusiastically when we asked staff!

The hotel is very nice, very clean, the staff - from the reception, to the bar, to the room maintenance staff - is absolutely lovely, extremely positive, accommodating and truly a pleasure to interact with. The view from the balcony is gorgeous, overseeing the swimming pool, a little lake and the sea. Everything we needed was promptly provided (from unlimited filtered water, to beach towels and umbrella, iron, etc.) and we had an absolutely great stay.

There wasn't much to dislike, in all fairness. Perhaps the only thing we missed is more variety in the restaurant menu (for lunch and dinner) which only had a handful of options and was only opened about half of the week. The hotel is also rather pricey, but I suppose it also depends on the timing of the reservation and period.

All rooms have some view to the sea, but it is rather partial view. WC and Shower are separated. Good breakfast with all essentials. They also serve lunch and dinner in the same hotel restaurant - we tried lunch and it was really very good, large & tasty - no need to go to city center.

There is no beach nearby, you need to take a car and drive 20 minutes to the nearest descent beach. Also there is literally nothing to do in the town (apart of eating, but hotel solves it very well as I already wrote above). It is not a problem of the hotel, but really the best you can do in Porto Vecchio is to stay in this hotel and use its pool and other amenities (learn to play petanque for example). However, there is no reason to stay longer then for 1-2 nights.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Compliments to the entire reception staff (especially Loic and Josiane), who made us feel welcome and gave us amazing advice on what beaches to go to, which restaurants to eat at etc. The room as well as the outside area (e.g. terrace, pool) were spacious and kept clean. The hotel is perfectly located. The old town and marina can be reached easily by foot and the most beautiful beaches are only a short car ride away. We will definitively come back one day!

One point of improvement would be the breakfast (service). We acknowledge that the restaurant staff was working hard and doing their best. However, our expectations were not met with regards to the variety offered as well as the service. It seemed very chaotic and items were not refilled continously (only after guest request). Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay very much and would come back for sure!

Lovely quiet hotel within half an hour of the port with all its restaurants and nightlife. The personnel are fantastic, friendly, good humoured and helpfull. Whoever does the hiring does an exceptional job..

location is not the greatest because it is 20 min away from city center. great view on the ocean bay on the front but shopping mall on the back (not a nice one). food has potential but not worth the prices.

This brand new property is exceptional. From the modern design to incredible amenities, staying at this hotel was a treat. Our room has a beautiful view of the sea and we were able to enjoy the sunset from the balcony. Tom at the front desk was so helpful and provided us with great recommendations of places to eat and things to see. The hotel is located within walking distance to all the lovely restaurants (approx 10 min to both the port and the old town) and 15/20min to all the popular beaches. We will definitely be back and will hopefully be able to stay much longer. Thank you for the incredible stay!

Great base in easy distance of the old town centre. Good pool area, with towels provided for the pool or for visits to the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Large parking with charging points for EVs.

Gym was good but a little small with only one exercise bike and treadmill. Food menu was quite limited, although perhaps because so many great restaurants nearby.

Staff was absolutely great. Always willing to answer questions, very welcoming and friendly during our entire stay. The hotel, the swimming pool area and the room as well, were all very clean. The interior of the room is spacious enough and esthetically well styled. The breakfast had everything you would want to start your day with. We had dinner at the hotel for one night, only tapas were served. Good we love to share! The potatoes and bruschetta are to die for! Whenever we come back we would definitely rebook a stay at Golden Tulip!
