The house has a lovely secluded garden with many mature trees and even a miniature box maze within a walled urban garden. The rooms are apparently converted from garages from the previous owner's collection of vintage cars. Sylviane, the present owner, is a charming and helpful hostess. Our room was large with a roomy bathroom and shower, looking out on the garden. It was a perfect stop-over en route to Baden-Wurtemburg

Not much, maybe we might have liked fluffier bath towels. The Internet reception isn't great, but that's beyond the owner's control as were the noisy airforce jets flying overheaad, Also the place was a little difficult to find - a larger obvious sign at the entrance might be an idea.

The house and huge gardens are beautiful. The Royale bedroom was wonderfully large with a super bathroom and breakfast was served in a lovely dining room. Sylviane, the host, was delightful and helpful. The position is excellent - close to the centre and several bars and restaurants. There is secure, free parking. Communication with the host was extremely good and clear. We were sorry only to be staying the one night.

The rooms are situated in what must have been the old stables of the house.The two rooms were both tastefully decorated and spacious. The bathrooms were large, modern and well equipped with walk in shower and twin basins.Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast is taken in the main house and was fresh and substantial. The house has a small park which is available for guests to use and is situated well in St.Dizier near good restaurants

If I had to fault something it would only be that the bed only had one usable pillow to sleep and there were none stored in the wardrobe.Otherwise it was completely faultless

The house was in a picturesque setting with secure parking. The owner was absolutely delightful and most helpful. We later found a super little bar and a great restaurant in town - fabulous start to our long awaited holiday!!! Thank you to our lovely host!

A well kept and nicely renovated mansion surrounded by a wonderful park. It was quiet despite its location in the middle of the town. The room was big and comfortable, and the host extremely friendly; breakfast was excellent too. What else can one ask for? :-)

Nothing to criticize.

Peaceful oasis but located in the centre of town. our hostess could not have been more helpful even joking us a table for dinner at the only place open in town (never visit France on a Monday! especially not in August). Beautiful house in its own park grounds, quiet and comfortable.

The hotel is situated in a secluded walled garden in the centre of Saint-Dizier. You'll find chickens roaming around the grounds and their eggs are available to enjoy at breakfast time. Breakfast included an excellent selection of breads, cheeses, pastries and fruit. Our room was spacious, very well decorated and especially quiet. The owners live in the main building (pictured) and the rooms are located in the adjacent renovated coach house.

The breakfast was ordered the day before with the manager and was enjoyed in the garden that was directly outside my room.Coffee and the usual continental breads and jam.

There is no room for improvement as I found the property delightful in all aspects,I was happy with all the facilities.

super nice staff! the location is incredible: a noble mansion with a beautiful park in the middle of St Dizier. The room has a modern, stylish furnishing/ deco with a classic twist. Breakfast was above my expectations. Finally, the tenant is a duscreet, very nice lady.

what I didn’t like?… that I had to leave…

Style, comfort, good facilities, great breakfast, though not included in room rate which for a Monday night was rather expensive for area.

The military airbase nearby with very noise fighter aircraft exercises. Location of hotel a little difficult to find.
