Unbeatable location in Sainte Georges de Didonne, a small town next to Royan, which we enjoyed way more than the crowded Royan. Seafront and some lively squares with restaurants and shops just behind the hotel. Super friendly, family-run hotel. We felt very welcome. Great value for money. Good restaurant. Would happily stay here again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The food was very good - dinner and breakfast. The bedroom and shower was comfortable and clean. Staff were professional. The location is good and it was convenient to get a public parking space in the little square outside the hotel.

The restaurant is lacking a little in atmosphere. The decoration of 1-2 areas (stairs, hallway) could be refreshed, to bring it to a level consistent with the pricing applied.

Charming hosts, great location, spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped rooms, excellent breakfast. Only rated 9 out of 10 because the restaurant was closed for staff holidays during our visit so we had to go out for dinner and couldn't test the menu but we will go back for that! Being a few steps from the beautiful beach and two minutes from the town centre you can't go wrong and Saint George is so much friendlier and pleasant than its nearest neighbour at Royan. Even at the end of November and before the Christmas events start there was enough open to keep us happy and entertained helped greatly by Alexandra who is a mine of useful information and a bright ray of sunshine.

Perfect location a minute from the beautiful beach. 2 minutes to walk into the little town with all amenities. Excellent staff, friendly and more than happy to help if you needed anything. Superb meals from ingredients sourced from local producers on the daily morning market. We'd highly recommend.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were really good with a lot of choice. Nothing was too much trouble andwe will stay there again in the future.

Nothing comes to mind. Perhaps the ensuite was a little small, but overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The location was perfect both for the sea and the shops. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. The evening meal was delicious, and the breakfast was very good.

Shame the restaurant wasnt open on the night we were there but we found an italian restaurant nearby . Bathroom was tiny .
