Very conveniently placed for a four night stop to explore the western Vercors. Excellent breakfasts with the opportunity to enjoy dinner in the courtyard or inside. Our host spoke excellent and performed her role in a very professional and relaxed manner. The evening meals were of excellent quality, reflecting local cuisine and adapted to suite the hot temperatures we encountered during our stay. This is a charming, family run establishment and would recommend it all visitors to the area.

Great hosts (young family with 4 adorable kids). Enjoyed a nice communal dinner (table d'hotes) with the other guests on the first night. The gite is located at the entrance to the Route Touristique de Combe Laval, an amazing road into the mountains and with cliff roads. Impressive for auto touring as well as biking.

The road in front is at an 8% incline. Tough for coming back the few hundred meters from the village by bicycle.

We wish we could have stayed longer. Romain and Clémentine were most exceptional hosts. We felt like we were "at home" the moment we arrived when Clémentine met us outside with baby Charlotte on her hip. If you like nature and the beautiful outdoors this location is like no other. Minutes to town and minutes into the beauty of the Vercors! Hiking and cycling right out the front door. Before arrival we chose to try the table d’hôtes This is not to miss. After 10 days in Portugal and Lyon, our meal (expertly prepared by Clémentine and served with care and attention by Romain - and even very well mannered and sweet 8 year old Baptiste) was the best by far. Every course was perfectly prepared with fresh and local ingredients. Everything was so delicious that we chose the table d’hôtes for our second night. Clémentine finished off another amazing meal with a simply divine walnut and caramel tart. They sent us off in the morning with two more tarts and a jar of homemade caramelized walnuts (grown in the region). Our room was a good size and well appointed with all we needed. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept quite well. The rooms are located in what was once the barn. The walls are thick - solid stone. The dining area has a rustic elegance with a long farm table and touches that reminisce to the barn. Romain gave us great advice for our hike. We had planned another hike, but we experienced a glorious day based on his recommendation. He also gave us valuable advice for our onward travel south. Clémentine and Romain have four lovely and growing children. Family is very important to them and this is a reason why they chose to run an inn in the country - to have a better life for their children. They work very hard to balance family life and run this amazing Bed and Breakfast. If we didn't live in the US, this would be a place we would return to year after year. Truly a highlight of our 3 weeks in Europe.

Everything was just perfect! We really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast. Also the location is very convenient close to everywhere. Hosts are such amazing people, I was genuinely touched by their kindness. Highly recommend their evening dinner, which we had on the terrace when the weather allowed it. Only regret is that we didn’t book more days here.

I enjoyed the family friendly atmosphere. First time, I've ever paid for dinner and sat with other guests to enjoy excellent home-cooked meals. The hosts were also kind and welcoming and offered help when needed

The flies. But not really their fault. That's the reality/my experience of the open countryside. Also present around fresh foods and plants anyway.

Unfortunately I became ill while at the B and B and was confined to bed for a full day. Both Eric and Constantine were more than helpful in my situation and contacted a doctor on my behalf. It was reassuring to have them on hand in a difficult situation. Many thanks to them both.

Lovely place and very nice hosts. Food was delicious and homemade. Really enjoyed the dinner. Was also nice to use the pool

The only thing is that it was said in general information that there was an Aircon but there wasn't any in our bedroom so it was very hot
