Great, very clean hotel in the heart of Cancale seaside just 10 min drive from the city. Historic design, very nice bathroom (that French limestone!), and a very good Michelen Guide marked restaurant onsite which was a very pleasant surprise. Great location for visiting all the tourist places around

The village where the property itself located has really nothing to offer but all the great locations in just a 10 min drive

More vegan/dairy free options at breakfast would be welcomed but appreciate not many hotels in France have this on offer. As the hotel is family friendly, I’d suggest opening up the pool earlier to guests as those with children will generally be up very early and would appreciate being able to take the children swimming earlier than 9/9:30am.

Good location for overnight stay for catching the ferry in the morning.

The meal was excellent but sadly the bistro restaurant was not open on Sunday evening and therefore we felt that an A la Carte menu would have been preferable.

The check in was smooth, the rooms are spacious and clean. It is well located in terms of the activities we were interested in doing, though it is a bit out of the way with no restaurants or cafes nearby in case one would like to eat out or has forgot to book the hotel restaurant. The breakfast was ample, beyond the usual french fare and catered for all tastes.

I found them a little inflexible when it came to the restaurants and menu. I was traveling with my children and it would have been nice being able to mix up the menu a bit so as to ensure that the children ate what they liked. I also think that the kid's menu could be better as I found it plain and not nutritious for children. The chef took time to prepare beautifully presented meal options for the main menu and I wish the same thought went to the kids menu too.

Excellent family room with direct access to facilities. We chose to stay here as we had an early start to get the ferry to Jersey (took us 25 minutes by car). The hotel was in excellent order & spotless. The added benefit of the pool to use was great at the end of the day (although had to book a slot due to COVID(not a problem for us)). The room we had was separate from the main building & was great for coming/going late/early via coded gate access.

We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, excellent food although we think the children’s had been forgotten as we had finished our main course when theirs eventually turned up after prompting the staff.

The room on the upper floor of the main building was small and when we entered it had a very a strong smell of cleaning materials or air fresheners

Everything, from the room which was very clean and spacious to the supporting staff.

The room was pretty warm during the night and there wasn't air conditioning.

Been to this hotel last time un 2017 it has improved tremendously the room was warm and cosy staff helpful and the food in the, bistro was very good we will return plenty of parking spaces and secure .

Pool room was most excellent, clean and tidy, and the restaurant it's good if you like fine dining, but did not cater for anything else

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Provided us with a fab immediately when requested and allowed for a slightly later check out due to work commitments.

The room was a little smaller than expected. No air conditioning.
