Inès and Christian were superb hosts - very willing to help and to please. The welcome aperitif was a lovely touch. Breakfast excellent. Real freshly squeezed orange juice! The room was clean and modern, and bed comfortable. The hotel is a little way from the centre of the town where there are a few eating places. However, it is possible to have a meal in the hotel if you order in advance of your visit. We didn’t, but felt we should’ve done. A choice of French or African dishes sounded fascinating. This is obviously a new venture and deserves to be a great success. Highly recommended.

The proprietor was very welcoming and attentive. At 5pm he invited guests for an apéritif in the salon where he served a lovely local white wine, with nibbles. The location, nestled dramatically in the Maurienne alps, was very convenient to my route as well as to local restaurants. Breakfast was excellent.

I was surprised to find out that I had a shared bathroom, I didn't see this mentioned in the confirmation. In future I will request an ensuite bathroom. I would have liked to have had a mirror in my room.

Ines and Christian are very friendly hosts! Their B&B has only been open for about two weeks (I think I was guest #11) and freshly renovated. They made a point of having a nightly "welcome drink" so the various guests could get to know one another, which I greatly appreciated. Would very happily stay here again.

Guests should understand that Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne is not exactly a posh resort town (though it's close to several, and massively cheaper than all of them). This B&B is fairly close to the railroad tracks but this didn't really bother me. If you are very sensitive to the slightest noise then it would be a consideration.

The hotel was perfect to stop over on the way over the mountains. The owners were really helpful and friendly and helped to park our motorbike in the locked garden. Very comfortable beds and good sound proofing from the near by motorway and trainline. Breakfast was perfect with good quality products and plentiful, an ideal start to the day.

The only thing that may bother some people is the lack of a door on the on suite bathroom

Fantastic hotel, with amazing staff. Beautiful room, lovely spacious and well laid out. Host was incredible, and breakfast was amazing! Would 100% stay again, and could not recommend enough! 5* 10/10!

The host was very kind and generous. And even though it was late on nye he was still willing to help!

For us it was to hot, but with the window open and the heaters off it was do-able.

A pleasant room, recently refurbished to a high standard, with extra facilities like a lounge for guests. Extremely friendly, generous and helpful hosts, and an excellent breakfast.

Great location and very welcoming host.

There is no door separating the bathroom from the room, only a shower curtain.
