Everything!!! The location was central but very quiet and the hotel building and surrounding buildings were very attractive and full of character .A small hotel which places emphasis on a personal high standard of service . The staff were super, professional, friendly and very helpful and welcoming .The room was spacious and the bed and pillows very comfortable .The shower was great and the bathroom a good size . Breakfast was good . Would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend such a lovely establishment with a heart .

Couldn’t find a fault with anything

This hotel is remarkable for being in an excellently modernized building dating from 1522. That was not the only excellent part of staying there: the reception was warm and helpful; the room was well appointed without being too elaborate. Breakfast was a most enjoyable experience in a brilliantly adapted vaulted room. The hotel is situated in a pedestrian only square, which offers a choice of good restaurants, in the centre of the old quarter of Souillac.

Nothing, we hope to return.

An absolutely excellent hotel, with clean and inviting rooms, heating in winter, strategically placed on the town square but very quiet, free parking round the corner, excellent breakfast with local produce (and we know what that means in France), very polite and helpful reception, made a super suggestion for a bistro nearby, where we had one of the best dinners. The town of Souillac is well placed if you want to explore this beautiful area (including the very picturesque but expensive Rocamadour). Highly recommended.

Lovely old building full of character in the town centre. The entrance hall led to a large staircase with access to each floor (there was a lift for less able guests). Interesting pieces of furniture added to the ambience. We had a family room to accommodate 5 of us for a 1-night stopover. The room was spacious and had all we needed - it was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was served in the renovated basement, with charactistic white stone walls. There was plenty of choice on offer including cheeses and charcuterie.

As an older building, the water pressure for the shower was a little low but the water was hot. Given it's central location, the parking was a short walk away but not a problem if you are organised with your overnight bag.

Great location and easy to find with secure parking. The staff were friendly and it was perfect for an overnight stay. We were a family of 5 adults and stayed in the family room and it was great. Ate out in the main square, just in front of the hotel and had a lovely meal.

Didn’t stay for breakfast as it looked quite expensive otherwise nothing to not like!

A wonderful old building in a great location, very well run, quite comfortable

Just one issue, really: very thin walls—despite planting on walls and ceiling—making it impossible not to overhear even quiet conversation in the next room. No street noise, just neighboring room talking.

Beautiful building in a town centre and conveniently next to couple restaurants( be aware of the time as only one was serving hot food after 21:00). Welcoming host, waited for us to check in past the check in time. Clean.

It was a bit hard to find free parking, nearest available space was around 5 min walk away. We would have liked to have a kettle in a room to make a coffee/tea as it was long drive and we were leaving early in the morning again.

The property was centrally located. Benjamin at reception was very helpful and had a very nice manner. The Hôtel building is very old but tastefully decorated.The breakfast was really good. The hotel is dog friendly. Private car parking available very close to the hotel in a Richard property

The staff were so accommodating and lovely, Benjamin let us park our motorbikes in the garage just round the corner. If you don’t have breakfast booked I’d recommend you take it, so much choice to have and lovely coffee.

Only problem was noise of upstairs the floorboards creaked badly when someone walked around but that can’t be helped as it is an old property.
