Good location and good on site parking. Very clean room with excellent shower - everything you need for a short stay. New swimming pool a nice addition.

Breakfast was too much do it yourself and could have been more imaginative. Staff could have been a bit more friendly.

Spotlessly clean absolutely everywhere. Delicious breakfast with excellent, fresh, local produce. The coffee was especially good. The location is brilliant; easy to access and with a wonderful view of the port. A short walk along the water front takes you to the lower edge of the medieval centre which is about 10 minutes walk up the hill. The staff members were warm and friendly and very professional. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble.

The only things that were disappointing were that no-one was at reception when we arrived and, in spite of ringing the bell several times, it took a long time for someone to come. A staff member actually walked through and went into a back room without acknowledging us. The lighting in the bedroom was not very versatile. There were no overhead lights and the bedside lights were rather too bright for one person to read while the other person sleeps. One small thing; there are no USB sockets in the rooms. As the hotel is newly built it seems a shame not to have them. I specifically booked a hotel with a swimming pool but when we went to use it, it was locked and the cover was on. This was very disappointing. This is the only reason that the hotel did not meet my expectations.

Quiet room, large comfortable bed, bathroom, extensive choice at breakfast. Good location to walk into historic town with on-site parking.

Reception was only open until 8pm. It would have been nice to have acess to a larger indoor seating area in case of bad weather and also some seating in the garden area. The shelving and hanging space was very small with no lighting nearby.

well situated 10 mins walk from the town center. rooms are a nice size we were in a double with our child and there was enough space for us all all recently refurbished. the swimming pool was lovely 28 degrees and often it felt private! excellent breakfast with home made specialities. we thought the staff were especially great nothing was too much trouble and without any fuss. thank you for a great stay :)

Lovely low key hotel. Excellent self serve breakfast. Easy walk into town. Overlooking the estuary. Helpful staff.

Wifi did not reach the room, only in the lounge by reception.
