As I’m an architect I work in the residential and commercial sectors. I like to travel and stay in new hotels around the world. My partner and I like spa’s and I found this on Booking.com. I liked the size of the hotel and the space. Some hotels are great but there too small and don’t give you any personal space for yourself or your family, and that’s important with a Spa Hotel. We picked our times correctly and most days we had the spa area to ourselves. I’ll defiantly return in the future.

I wanted to order room service as we arrived late on the first day as we had travelled from London. The QR code wasn’t working in the room and found it difficult to organise something to eat. The TV interaction needs to be better. I loved the history of how the building came together to become a hotel. I thought that was very interesting. The difficult thing was linking a phone or laptop to the TV to steam a movie from Netflix. It took so long I didn’t do this in the end as it became frustrating. Staying in a hotel spa should be effortless. Last comment. The hotel restaurant should review their cuts of meat. I went to the restaurant on two occasions and found a lot of gristle within the meat. Not good for that kind of establishment.

The finish of the hotel and quality is excellent. Like many places I think hospitality staff are missing slightly. The facilities are fabulous and I would highly recommend. It's nice to have an assortment of restaurants and it is close to the town centre so you can visit other bars and food outlets. The spa facilities are fabulous.

The water bottles of the last guests were still in the room and it could have just been finished and fridge replenished before we were given access to the room.

The building is breath taking. It's absolutely beautiful. Very well decorated with a great attention to details. The restaurant serve great food and the staff is so niceee. The cocktails are so tasty and the bar staff very accommodating.

Check in at 4 pm seems a little late considering the prices you pay per nights. More toiletries should be added in the showers such as body lotion. The pool is just wonderful. Point to mention during my stay is that there was no jacuzzi in the pool area or maybe it was not working.

Stunning rooms, nice Italian restaurant with lovely food, and a great swimming pool. Atrium bar also very impressive. incredible building which they've done a great job to convert.

Bed was hard, but the staff righted that by fitting a mattress topper. Food in the brasserie was no better than average, the chicken in my wife's Caesar salad was barely cooked.

It is a recently renovated property (old hospice) with plenty of character. We were upgraded to prestige room by reception. The room offers easy access to the spa (reason for our stay). Spa was busy and was a pity having 2 person restriction to the sauna. Top spa facilities (separate changing rooms for men and women with shower) and swimming pool it has a wow factor. We had dinner at the brasserie and food and service was excellent. Breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful and kind and overall was a great experience!

Parking was rather expensive at 25 EUR for 24 hours.

The hotel building is an old hospital with so much history. Its very grand and imposing when walking through the courtyard into the glass reception area - really makes you feel special. The duplex room is incredible with a huge bathroom too. The spa is incredible!

On arrival the room was very warm and unfortunately smelt a little musty. We opened the large windows and this was resolved within a few minutes.

Incredibly beautiful historic property that has been adapted wonderfully to make it comfortable and functional without sacrificing the history or charm of the building

Beautiful hotel. Very large, clean and comfortable rooms. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Very good breakfast. Comfortable Spa.

The breakfast was very good but not properly refilled, so at the end of the breakfast time there was not much choice in terms of pastries, bread and yogurt. The spa would definitely benefit of a Jacuzzi pool.

It was our second visit. We had so much enjoyed our first that it was a greatly anticipated return. it did not disappoint: everything - the welcome, the room, the pool, the food, was just as good - and that meant it was very good!

Beautifully converted building from a hospital into a very nice hotel. Good location, easy walk to restaurants and shops. Very nice pool.
