The restaurant is excellent and the waiters we had were extremely friendly. The hotel looks out onto a lake which is a popular spot but quiet in the mornings and evenings. A great place for a jog. We were passing through on our bikes and the hotel provides a secure shed for storing them overnight. The rooms are clean and recently renovated. Excellent spot for celebrating e.g. for a wedding reception.

You’re definitely paying - a lot - for the location. There is an air of pretentiousness about the place which is ok if that’s what your into. Breakfast was ok (chewy instead of crunchy muesli and the worst coffee). Reception staff not overly friendly. Maybe due to Corona, definitely not enough staff in the restaurant. One person at breakfast and just two waiters in the evening. We had no problem, as we ate later, but when the restaurant is busy it can take a while to be served - but it is absolutely worth the wait.

Beautiful location with a walking path right round the lake. There was a playground for the kids too.

Comfy bed, variety breakfast, location was easy to find, surprisingly many cars parked there for strolls on the huge property due to its nature walks.

Corona mask for breakfast due to buffet, but this is a general problem

Nice hotel at a lake. Rooms are spacious. We especailly enjoyed the typical German dinner in the restaurant which was of very good quality. Easy and spacious parking at the hotel. The place is in the middle of nowhere so in any way it is quiet!

The location is super, even if it is a little off the beaten track. More of an event hotel, we used it as a stopover going from the south to the north of Germany.

Good parking, nice restaurant, nice nature around, dog friendly

Missing an airconditioning (really hot summer nights), smelling water from the toilet, busy road during the day near the window
