Swimming Pool - this was the highlight of our stay, kids love it. Location - it would be nice if the hotel can be easily access via public transportation

The play area was children was very useful along with the swimming pool. Overall this was a very nice hotel.

The breakfast is a bit expensive for what is on offer. The savoury items should be restocked more often during the morning. Ensure you make a booking for the restaurant in advance, even on your day of arrival, be sure to contact the hotel beforehand if you wish to eat in the restaurant and not the garden area. This should be made clear on the website. Was nice food when we had a booking, but good to be aware

Room was very clean, room service is quite quick (20-30 minutes depending on the dish), and the receptionists were helpful. The one who checked me in spoke in very good English and pointed me to all the important aspects of my stay. I took room service and ordered a Wiener Schnitzel which came quickly and was delicious and a good portion with side salad. I was tired and didn't think of a tip at the time so in the morning I wanted to tip on top of my bill at the check out but as I didn't have cash with me, the receptionist said they prefer me being satisfied with the service rather than accepting the money in any form so I don't need to do tip. Nice experience and encounter!

Spa and sauna could work longer hours, for example in the weekend till midnight and from 7 in the morning rather than starting the sauna from 12. I chose this hotel specifically to relax during my long travel across Europe, but due to traffic came at 21 and had to choose between room service (closing at 23) and spa (closing at 22). My personal preference, but perhaps more guests would enjoy longer spa hours.

I loved the location of the hotel, very close to Playmobil park and at the same time in a very secluded area. I love the decor and the staff was very helpful, even when it came to ask for milk for my kid, they offered it happily and for free. I also enjoyed their spa facilities, and the bar was a plus at the end of the day.

I would have enjoyed a room with a better view as we were facing the parking lot, especially on the first floor where everyone can see you.

Excellent choice if you travel with car and prefer to stay close to a city rather than in the city itself. We used it as point of departure for one-day visits to cities of this part of Bavaria. Lovely set among the woods, good for walking and cycling. Seems to be used a lot for company and private events, but was quiet and pleasant. Excellent restaurant for dinner, breakfast according to good German standards. Rooms comfortable, lots of parking space outside, playground for kids and a small but nice spa/gym/pool. Recommended.

This could have been our room only, but there was a very strange shower solution with two separate identical shower heads and taps, both hard to manouver into getting hot water.

Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Tip is to ask for a fan as the rooms can get hot in Summer. Spa and pool facilities amazing! Check to see if the biergarten is open as the first time we stayed it was closed but it incredible when it's operating as you can enjoy delicious cold beer and worst while your kids play in the magical forest playground. Food from restaurant pricey but worth it - top class. There is a kids play room on the 3rd floor which we discovered (but wasn't mentioned to us). On both stays (in 4 different rooms) the bar fridges in the room were unoperational but there is a fridge with drinks and snacks at reception. All in all, a fantastic family stay!

A beautiful place, fantastic staff, great room! Very good for children, loved the pool and playgrounds. Breakfast was superb! Great roomservice. A really big and nice balcony in the junior suite! Very nice location in the outskirts of the city but also in the forrest.

No aircon in the room - which was dissapointing for a junior suite. The breakfast trolley was REALLY dirty. Missing a loation in the bathroom. The balcony could use a broom (spidersweb and leaves)

Fantastic location in the forest, great breakfast and in general food and drinks at the bar and restaurant were very good. The pool and spa are also very good, and it’s super that they are open longer (7-22). Big plus for us - super dog friendly, and the area is perfect if you’re traveling with a dog, the forest next door has a lot of walking trails.

Our room was a bit small (for 4 nights) but we made it work alright.

The hotel has the perfect location in forest where you can walk, take you fresh air and enjoy the nature. The wellness was a dream for us. It was rarely crowded,, very warm (the schwimming pool area) and relaxing. We also had a massage from Herr Klose. He respond very fast to our request, he was very friendly and good at his job 🙂 The room was comfortable for a family with 2 kids and very clean. Cleaning service: everyday 😉 Breakfast was our favorite!! We can't wait to visit the Hotel again.

The sofa-bed was a little bit hard for the kids And the Hair dryer was not so strong. But these are really very small details that didn't bother us so much.

I loved everything about the hotel.Lovely quiet location,very clean room and bathroom.Really comfortable and large double bed. I was really surprised to see that they provide one of my favourite Ritualss’ hand wash and shampoo. We book the hotel to visit Playmobil Fun park which is just 15 min drive. Will visit again
