Located on a main Boulevard. I pulled my motorcycle up on the sidewalk, out of traffic, to check in. When the man at the front desk came out, I thought he was going to tell me to move. Instead he asked if he could take my luggage and gave me directions to the parking in the rear. When I got there he was in the parking area to show me where to park. After I checked in he told me my luggage was already in my room. I have NEVER had Service like that!!!! The room's window opened to a main Intersection so I could enjoy the city sounds while I checked E-mails. I felt so superior sipping a beer and watching pedestrians and traffic. They suggested a great restaurant, and gave me directions, to the Pedestrian Zone.

A very nice and basic hotel. Spotless, clean room. Quiet room despite major road outside. Super nice staff! The breakfast was good and rich. Interior in a well-preserved seventies style, which we appreciated. The hotel has small parking (we reserverad in advance). Good location with walking distance to the Festspeilhaus and close to other attractions in the old parts of Bayreuth.

There is no elevator, but the staff help carry luggage up and down. The surroundings around the hotel are not the most charming.

Staff is really just so friendly and helpful. The young gentleman at reception second to none. Room was so very, very clean. Breakfast was plenty and loads of choices, with super friendly staff

I have to leave this in the review, don't I. As far as I know there's no access for wheelchairs, it's all stairs and no lift. There may be rooms on the ground floor, but, as stated before, I wouldn't know about that. The rooms are dated. I'm in my 50s, so yeah. But again, everything was just so spotlessly clean. There's no bad review at all, apart from maybe wheelchair access.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, starting with an email request of ours, to reception, to breakfast staff. The mattress was the most comfortable I have ever slept in at any hotel I've been to. Breakfast was lovely, and continuously topped up. We travelled at Easter, and our little one found a chocolate bunny at the breakfast table - lovely touch.

The smoke detector periodically emitting a sort of camera flash light might disturb people's sleep - although that seems to be related to the particular model being used (have had this before in other hotels).

The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, always ready and willing to assist. The room was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. This is a family run hotel, and the family really cares about its guests. The breakfast is excellent, in a clean, well organized and delicately decorated dining room. Also there the staff is attentive to the guests requests. The location is great - 3 minutes walk from the train station and 6 minutes from the Opera.

This is a family owned & operated hotel & it shows. Staff were very attentive. The service was genuinely outstanding. Tim could be the international example of how to look after guests. Aside from that…room was large & very clean & breakfast very good. As well as parking spaces there are several garages, so vulnerable vehicles like cycles & motorcycles can be secured.

Umm. ??? One Minor thing….no soft drinks machine for late night thirst quenching

Friendly and very helpful staff, I feel like I’ve made some good friends!

All was good. I only wish travelling (train, airports) through Germany was as pleasant as staying at this hotel.

The location was perfect, and most of all the staff were very friendly and helpful. It seemed like they all were passionate about the place and had been there a long time.

The neighbouring restaurant has a limited menu, alright very nice. Maybe they could expand it a bit?

A very friendly atmosphere in a welcoming ambient, excellent location to the historic center and the Festspiele

Nothing- It’s not important for me but I have to say that there aren’t air conditioning and lift

Can be noisy, depending on who’s in neighbouring rooms , not hotels fault, but walls and door thin so noise travels
